heck even the homeless people/kids and even the street junkies can sing
Here in Japan, I also have a filipina classmate. I've never seen her singing in school even in her house. And then when we decided to go to karaoke to sing and have some fun, she sings like a pro like she didn't do any practices nor it was her hobby. Their breathe control and air capacity is insanely large that they can sing some high notes songs like it was natural for them even without doing any practices.

Roberto del Rosario (1919-2003) was the president of the now-defunct Trebel Music Corporation, a founding member of the Filipino amateur jazz band "The Executives Band Combo," and, in 1975, the inventor of the Karaoke Sing Along System. Known as "Bert," del Rosario patented more than 20 inventions during his lifetime, making him one of the most prolific of Filipino inventors.

More than that: lots of unsigned Filipino singers! 🤯 Funny thing: even the weaker Filipino singers sing better than the weaker American singers! 🤯
You can't even sign her right away coz Filipino Standard when it comes to singing is super high.

2:34 As a half-Filipina girl myself, TRUST ME, they can. My uncle and grandfather can sing so well, as well as a bunch of aunts. Said uncle can play the guitar, piano and one other instrument that I don't remember. Dad can dance insanely well, as well as my brother and cousins. It's insane.

I remember when I was growing up in the Philippines, my babysitter was training me to sing all songs in her song book. I ended up singing for my class when I was 8 to 10. But I never picked up the mic again decades later when I came to the States. I think it's how people in PH are raised and how kids are surrounded by people willing to teach anyone. Got my early training, just didn't pursue it.

@@denniszenanywhere you wouldn't want to let all that go to waste. Pursue it and find out where that talent will take you. Good luck!
Here in the Philippines when we're happy we sing, when we're sad or having problems we sing. When there's a typhoon coming we sing, and after the typhoon WE WILL SING.
She is a famous tiktoker now in Ph. She tried though but proved harder. Glad she found her niche. Maybe she'll try again in the future ...Common occurrence yes. Hard to surprise a Filipino in terms of singing (and dancing) because we see it all the time in any age from all walks of life.

IT'S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES .❤❤❤I thank God for allowing me to be born in a beautiful country, the Philippines. I am just so blessed to hear for free this kind of voice every day. I am also inspired, motivated and humbled by these awesome singers. We just love singing regardless of whether we follow any technicalities. Filipinos are crazy to sing a song.!!! 👍👍👍🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Here in the Philippines, mothers are good singers, they can reach high notes especially when they get mad ro thier children 😂😂
well its what we call "napadaan lang pero masyadong ginalingan"
Justin this is just an ordinary scene in any mall in the Philippines. Talented people are always "barya lang", small change in the Philippines. Not bragging but it is true. Come and see them.
Yup! In fact, salespeople or guards in appliance stores often sing to either pass the time or attract customers to purchase microphones, karaoke machines, TVs, etc.
It is in our blood than we have the power of singing. I'm proud of you guys at all pinoys singers. Karaoke is in every house of Filipinos. ❤Watching you from Cairo, Egypt originally from Davao City the Philippines. 💖🇵🇭🇪🇬
As a Filipina who spent my life living abroad, every time I’d go home for vacation, I can hear my neighbors singing with their karaoke. Even my own family, I discovered that my nephews and nieces who are still young back then can sing.

I like her version... It was creative.
Filipino babies usually born in tune with music tones before they can even speak because usually our mother loves to take us to sleep with music backgrounds or simply by humming so naturally it grows on us... Karaoke is just a hobby actually. 😉
