The greatest of all time morisette

I watched Demi’s music video immediately after watching Mori’s Stone Cold version several times back-n-forth. And Mori pretty much owned this song. She has a propensity to do covers and turn it into something wonderfully different.

One of my favorites. Her ability to make you feel her vulnerability, pain and pleading is something that I haven't seen in any other singer. So empathetic, I love it!

so glad you pointed out the vibrato on the low end. It is hard to do. Most people don't realize why some singers sound nice to listen to vs when they themselves sing with probably a straight flat voice. It's all about the vibrato in the right places. ^_^

Stone Cold is one of her best from the MYX Stages Sessions. As impressive is her I Want To Know Love Is. ☺

thank you Beth for reacting to this. Even if this video is about a few years old, it's one of her best renditions. Mori sings this in her tours, which have been one of the songs that puts the audience on their feet. I like your honest disection of how she uses her techniques with her tone, and how she does this kinds of songs easily. But it hasn't been easy for her for the 7 years that shes had been on the scene. It took a lot of practice for her to be comfortable on how she sings, and at present, it resonates on every song how passionate and emotional she can be. I know you have gone through this song before with Katrina Velarde. But if you can please try her again (Morissette) with the song "Never Enough". I've seen a lot of artists and KZreadrs sing their own rendition of this song, but there's is just something missing in it. Please do if you can. Thank you for reacting to her again.

Mori has a habit of singing songs better than the original artists. Much better tone, perfect pitch, and pure emotion. She has taken songs from Demi, Adele, Loren Allred, Big Mama, Andra Day and and even Audrey Hepburn, and made them her own. Basically the lesson here is to not let Mori cover your songs lol.

So you can have the English translations as Morrisette sings her Filipino song. That way you'd appreciate it better the meaning of the song. In your spare time watch her sing the same song again with the English translations. I'm also from the Philippines and the words really struck my heart but ripped it apart with the sincerity that Morrisette sang this song from her heart and I really felt she gave this song her all.
