Seriously just because I don't love Taylor more than my family, I am a clown? Wow! I am bored of her... She releases new music every five minutes, and plus all the re-records. Yes she is super talented and I very much enjoy her pop era, as fantastic a songwriter she is, she is not changing the world.

The difference between music from the past and today’s music is that artists used to seek to promote a change in consciousness through it. What artists like Madonna and Michael have is that their music is transcendent. That is something current singers lack. The closest to this so far is Adele. She is organic, releasing her complete music (no deluxe editions, no unnecessary quadruple covers, no extra songs per edition when you can listen to them for free on KZread) just music, just Adele.

My biggest surprise was how good they sound together.

Madonna has indeed wrapped up her tour with a record breaking performance in rio.

Their Voices really do work well together, an original song Duet would be fabulous!

It's a quiet moment in the show, after an emotional speech about her surviving that bacterial infection and almost dying from it. Also in-between two upbeat songs, it really fits in the setlist. And Kylie coming on stage singing with her, was every gays' dream finally come true.

I’ve waited for Madonna and Kylie to duet for years. I would love to hear them sing an upbeat dance track, something you could dance to. Their voices work so well together. I agree it was a bit ploddy. But I’m so excited to see them sing so beautifully together. Love them both and will always be a fan. ❤️

We have the full concert now in a decent quality live from Rio, as usual, her concerts are a journey and the best way to analyze or understand them is to watch the whole thing. Also Madonna's energy was different throughout the tour, I mean, she came back from death. Afterwards she changed I Will Survive for Express Yourself, meaning she stopped feeling sorry for herself. That's the song I listened to in Mexico and it was a very special moment of the show because everyone was singing.

I think you were hoping this to be a highly-produced prodcution, which i would have loved as well, but this likely was arranged the night before or even just that day, she wanted to get her on stage because it worked out, just for fun and because they could.

It felt like Kylie was holding back. Totally agree with you that it was too slow. It should have gone faster.

On the tour, this is the section where Madonna talks about nearly dying last year. It doesn’t pick up but in the context of M.s illness and the story…. It would have been weird if it became a boppy number ❤

I don’t want to sound like I’m repeating myself since I already responded to one of your comments about Taylor Swift but I have to agree with you even though I enjoy her pop albums such as 1989. 1989 is one of my favorite albums of all time. People who get offended over your opinion of Taylor Swift need to be more tolerant of people’s different opinions. What a moment, especially for her LGBTIQ+ fans - the place erupted when Kylie took to the stage. They are obviously very fond of each other, there's mutual respect there. I hope they record something together - it just may happen!

This is a moment in the show where Madonna just plays a stripped down version of a song (usually this or "Express Yourself"). Given Madonna's health scare last year, the more introspective interpretation of "I Will Survive" works well but I don't really care for the song choice in general. Kylie definitely brought a more playful energy to it but it was an impromptu, one-off performance, so it's not a big deal. Madonna had just finished doing a big choreo number (in a leather corset!) so that probably explains the breath control issue in the beginning.

there were a handful of live instruments. mainly Madonna’s acoustic and electric guitar, but also David’s (Madonna’s son) guitar during La Isla Bonita and the cello you heard here

While I loved the arrangement of I Will Survive their take Can’t get you out of my head was a little cheap. Having no band on stage made this acapella take a little odd. A full band take on it would have been much better.

Nothing against Madonna from vocal coach, it was just a boring interpretation of the song. Vocal coach is totally positive about madonna here

I think this version is a little bit altered on vocals level. The clips that were available to listen before this one was posted - showed that Madonna struggled vocally

This was a bad recording.... the crowd was wild that night at the Forum in LA.

What you on about 'faster' darling you can barely walk.

Your sound is not good at all with that mic, it sounds liw and muffled. Sounds far better without the mic and just the camera mic

I thought it was lovely just to see them interact on stage - the intro was the best bit. As for the song choice - meh! It was stilted - not a song for either of their voices in this boring arrangement. This was a missed opportunity. Madonna just has to make us listen to her play guitar - she’s not that good at it, always looks like a frozen statue and doesn’t have the voice for this sort of thing - as in, it just doesn’t suit her voice - which is far better with good production and memorable songs around it.

This wasn't my favourite version of this song. Kylie is so talented though.
