It's the lyrics of the song and how he's acting them. He's telling off a cheating lover that tried to deceive him but he knew al along and says that he pities the other one because he doesn't know what he's getting. He imprivises the metric and original melody a lot so it's not exactly the same the audience knows.

His concerts were of 3 to 5 hours . he's not 100% at his best in this performance actually but he always had de stamina and passion. he really loved singing and being onstage. He was the showman, one of the most important songwriters from LATAM (also Spain) he wrote 1800 songs and many of them were played from other international singers like Rocío Durcal (Spanish Singer). Also crowd went crazy cause his lyrics are always very relatable to everybody. Juan Gabriel had an awesome engagement with crowd in every show, if you guys check Bellas Artes Palace live show, you'll notice how much he loved to interact with everybody (including his musicians) which it is one of the most impressive and most difficult places to sing (cause it was for Opera singers exclusively) and he always felt so grateful to be Mexican.

Nowadays singers are extremely rehearsed some of them might have a great voice and a lot of them barely sing but all put on our rehearsed show. I go back to Juan Gabriel videos and I often see comments in English or from other countries that don't understand the language but proves music is universal. All have the same thing in common they are mesmerized by Juan Gabriel's organic, natural way of performing. Truly a unique and very talented artist since he also wrote all of his songs.

I read he wrote over 3,000 songs. People love him because of his lyrics, he has a song for every occasion and feelings you may be dealing with. However, the most loveable part of him was his humanity.

He was honored by Celia Cruz at the Premio Lo Nuestro in 1991 and in 2009 at the Latin Grammy's. Enrique Iglesias introduces him and Juan Gabriel gives a stunning performance, probably one of the best I've seen and I've had the pleasure of seeing him live many, many times and each time, he doesn't disappoint.

I was lucky enough to see him in 9 concerts here in Chicago. It was truly amazing and no words to describe the energy and the feeling of his presence on the whole stage no matter how many musicians he had on stage. He’d sing for 3-4 hours straight. He gave himself totally to his audience. Fantastic writer, composer and interpreter! I love and miss him forever!! 💔💔💔

I strongly suggest you react to a more recent performance from Luis Miguel where he does amazing improvisations and things with his voice that shouldn’t be technically possible. Like Luis Miguel, Ana Gabriel, and many more artist arroud the world. His shows are stories in his life, Amor Eterno was written when his mother passed away. Most songs you reacted have subtitles in english check them out and put them on your reaction so your fans get to know this man"s song and how the songs are telling a story in his life.

He was a great composer and singer, it’s hard to sing when all the audience is signing at the same time that they can easy makes mistakes, therefore they improvise. Juan Gabriel is singing to the person that betrayed him, therefore he is telling her that she looks so much like him, that she can not fool him. In addition, he said to her to tell her lover, for that he lacks, what he has others.

Since you two are singers as well and you asked about why the audience likes Juan Gabriel, for me I can tell you that yes he has a great voice and sometimes I'm not a voice expert but I can see how perhaps at some point he has a raspy voice. I heard someone said that in terms of singing a voice teacher would say that's not good... which proves that if you're a singer and you want to be perfect in every note a lot of times the audience will not care and will not even notice if every note is not perfect because the performance or The Passion of the singer overpowers everything... sometimes Juan Gabriel instead of singing is just talking to the audience out loud and just as perfect too! He's performing with so much passion and seems natural that is very relatable and sometimes when he's just talking instead of singing, which may be bad for a voice teacher that will say that's a big no ....it can very well work if the performer can pull it off HOW? confidence! because the person listening to the singer can relate as if you were talking to a friend, so what I noticed with Juan Gabriel is that he had a great voice and he could pull those high notes and clean his voice when he wanted to but sometimes he could also just talk loud or have some raspy in his voice and pull it off. so if you're a singer know that it's okay you don't need to be perfect in every note what's more important it's how you engaging with the audience and the confidence you have doing those things
