I was trying to figure out the point of these "Reaction to...." kind of videos, but i think you just want to see that reaction you got the first time that particular thing amazed you :) Now when you've listened to it a hundred times, the "newness" wears off, and with those you can kinda re-live this moment. At least, for me, it gives me goosebumps again, like it's the first time i'm listening :)

Same. That entire end piece is the best part, my opinion-she just really unleashes it all. And while I couldn’t care less about astrology, the theme and lyrics are a pretty clever pairing with the music-again especially at the end. The way she attacks the final verses, and the pure torment and anguish she gets across on those repeated “EMERALDS ARE RIPPED AWAY!”, is absolutely devastating.

Just because she is a woman, we should not praise her and pretend that it is better than all men like you, but I love this live session not only for her but for the whole band and I must say that the drummer tried so much more but never they are recognized as they should be.

When it comes to vocal coach reacts to videos, Beth Roars is always my preferred channel. She's always so open to new things and appreciative of the unfamiliar and the foreign. She finds genuine joy in being surprised and experiencing things that are different. She loves MUSIC, all MUSIC, and she means it. You'll never see Beth Roars react to a song like this and go "ew that's satanic" or dismiss something as just weird and foreign. It's amazing to watch someone who knows so much about music be overjoyed to see different things and talk about it and the skill involved in things she doesn't specialize in. Tl;dr: Beth Roars is great because she's not an elitist and there's a lot of genuine joy in this channel

Seeing the genuine huge smile and excitement on your face when she transitioned from the "dry lung" vocal style to the high E made my day. That's what good music, and musicians do..bring out the excitement and emotions. This is the best metal band to hit the scene in the past 20 years, a breath of fresh air to metal as a genre. The musicians are stand alone phenomenal already, adding her angel/ demon voice to it is icing on the cake. So glad you got to experience their work, and loved the genuine emotional reaction you had. You should see them live. Captain Clock, Cloud Factory, and Who is Going to be the One live..great performances. .Their sound and stage presence is larger than life.

Just going to stick my neck out for some of the metal bands releasing music over the past 20 years. While Jinjer are great, there's a clear influence from the recent prog metal bands that pioneered this style, e.g. Periphery, TesseracT, BtBAM and many more equally talented bands. Check out this TesseracT vid from 2011 this if you're curious, you'll notice many parallels that could be drawn: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iqt2z8qnm7WtfZs.html Not saying Jinjer aren't great. Just raising awareness that metal has been in a really great place lately, though not quite as visible as before.
