I am a Chinese, I have watched the program completely, I have to say, this is the award she deserves, although I am sad, the local singer did not receive the award.

Her pop songs do not convey the extent of her ability. When she was a coach on The Voice UK there were a couple of times she sang impromptu with contestants in an r&b (jazz?) style and was utterly fantastic. There is also a video following her around when she was 13 where she walked around her house and yard singing non-stop. She was working on her craft from a young age.

Yes, she is very good.I seldom study fashion.Although I like rap music too,In comparison, I prefer Chinese folk songs and some slow music. I think this music can bring the peace of mind and a lot of touching.The song that she won the singer 2018 contest.This style of music is very popular among young Chinese nowadays.This may be her reason for becoming a champion.At least I love it very much.

I love Celine, but this has to be my favorite performance of this song I’ve ever heard. Constant goosebumps. One of the most under appreciated vocalists of our generation

Jessie is the good example well trained singer who sing with brain. She is an enginer for her perfomance & singing in the right ingridient, not only shout & shout high notes even she can do that

Fes Disney she is a technical singer but not a singer from the heart. She has to get out of her head and sing from her heart. Thats the difference between black singers and white singers many black singers sing from the heart and white singers sing by notes it has no feeling. When you sing by notes its pretty singing that lacks emotions.

She actually has had that sound quality for year. She just doesnt use it in popbuisness. Her unplugged versions where always amazing. I hope she will never be underrated again. Espacially after her whitney tribute.

Jesse J is without a doubt the best pop female vocalist around at the moment, she is pitch perfect and knows how to truly sing, not whisper into a mic like 99% of singers today. It's a pleasure to hear real singing without all the autotune vocoder tech that most singers use today. Stunning performance

Many of us will say the same about Haley Reinhart, and Haley is more versatile.

Everyone has this misconception that jessie is classically trained she isnt. Jessica Cornish grew up singing in a black church listen to artist like the clark sisters which is why she sounds the way she does not to forget Brandy norwood. Her ability was enhance when she went to Brit School, she has always had the ability to belt at this magnitude its what you do in church literally lmfao. But the music she signs doesn't allow her to show her full capabilities unless you have heard mama knows best or who you are live.

agree with you. In pop songs she goes at 50% the speed she could go. Still, it's more than most other singer can do. This means that jessie J is by far the best living female singer.

“It doesn’t sound like her” this is what Jessie sounds like all the time, her studio songs are so different. She is one of the rare artists that sound much better live.

Before that performance she was rushed on the hospital because of her heart issue that's why you can see she was nervous . By the way thanks for reacting to her 😊

She has a heart condition which is why this song has so much meaning to her. Her version of Killing me softly is amazing!!!

It's amazing how before this performance she was rushed to hospital but came back to preform "my heart will go on". She's a fighter.

You need to listen to her performing "I have nothing", that one gave me full body shivers!

Amazing and emotional performance from one of the best vocalists of this generation. She was rushed to the hospital a week before that performance due to her heart condition. And she said, she nearly fainted while performing that song. But she delivered impeccably 👏👏👏 Btw, thank you for your reaction. You are my favorite ❤️

*there are truly no words for this performance. the REAL music heads, knew jessie j could sing this well 5 years ago. shes up there with mariah, whitney, celine, she is THAT. good. she didnt only sing it, she went even HIGHER at parts than we could expect! or suspect! beautiful. her RESONANCE, tone, delivery AND emotion is unmatched!*

She's such a class act. She always sings with so much heart, something that can not be taught. Also that time when she shaved her head for Red Nose Day, great woman.

Nothing beats a full orchestra. Remarkable voice, and she looks so beautiful here. You've gotta be proud of your fellow countrymen. Nothing like these appreciative Chinese audiences❤

The flute at the beginning was all I needed to know that this would be incredible.

I'll admit i kind of got here through a youtube hole but I just wanted to say that ive seen some similar videos to this (singers/ coachers reacting to celebs) and it was so good the way you 1)played the full video so we can see what youre talking about and 2) didnt stop& start it/ talk all the way through like pretty much everyone else ive seen does!! I've got chills

She’s a vocal monster. You find the most difficult songs and she’ll crush them.

Being a musician I am hyper-critical of ppls performance and know the tricks of the trade. No auto-tune in my day nor super dubbed loops and over dubbed tracks. All analog and one time through. If the timing or pitch was off, producer said, “again”...I was called one-take-Mike bc, well, I usually did my section in one take. Especially my vocals...I miss it. Now I’m an old rocker watching the future. Bless u and ur story, it made me cry bc I had kidney cancer and about went to rocker heaven...now I have a bad heart ❤️...so time is precious. Rehearsal or not, this was an amazing and beautiful performance.

IMHO, JJ is the most artistically accomplished diva out there and you my darling critic are adorable and a legend unto yourself. Bravo!

I just saw her for the 1st time last night as I got trapped in the very addictive world of " Blind Auditions " on The Voice, love watching people realize that talent has nothing to do with appearance, age, or walk in life. She is a singer who I had not been exposed to and she is pretty freaking BADASS! She is like a softer version of.....well I think it is only in looks, but I was going to say Pink ( who is one of my personal heros ) it after this video not much in common as far a their vocals. I can't imagine Pink ever performing this song. Titanic totally love the movie , but made me feel nauseated every time this songs played on the radio. You remember the radio?? 🤓 She brought it back to a new experience for me, & DAMN GIRL YOU BLEW HER OUT OF THE WATER! INSANITY MISS!!!

This woman is one of the most talented singers of this generation, I'm not a vocal coach, but it's clear that she knows what she's doing, her technics are out of this world. And I don't know if it's just me, but looks like she's mixing "My Heart Will Go On" with "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston, it's almost the same "performance structure" and she's *KILLING IT* Bless you miss Jessie J, you're a gem!

I honestly believe this was the most power performance I have ever seen in my lifetime. Due to her heart condition she was in extreme physical distress. You can actually see how incredibly fragile she was. She was shaking, she was pale, her eyes were not clearly focused. Should you watch the longer version, you will see her completely break down emotionally and cry uncontrollably backstage. To think she was able to honor us all with this gift, I feel incredibly humbled. Humbled, to say the least. Bless her.

I have been binging on Jessie J videos for the last two days and I just can't believe how absolutely amazing she is, not just as singer but as a person. She is so caring about other people, her voice and the world, we need more artists like this. I never realised before just how good she is as a singer. Her performances in this competition have been truly outstanding and she really does put all other artists of today to shame. She is easily the top artist of my generation in terms of how strong her voice is. Frustrates me how she isn't highly regarded as a singer here in the UK or the US, it's like people just don't realise how good she is. I'm a fan of the greats like Prince, Whitney, Aretha etc... I can honestly say Jessie has the talent and voice to be up there with them all. I've closed my eyes on a few of her performances and it's like listening to Whitney. 💜💜💜
