She did amazing here and in the movie. Her vocals are out of this world. I and like many are extremely proud of her. Disney could not have picked anyone better to play Ariel. Halle is perfect 🥺🥺❤️

She’s so beautiful, saw the movie today and I couldn’t take my eyes off her. The movie was magical. I liked it more than the original and it was one of my favorites growing up. I even liked the new songs more in the movie than when I initially heard the trailer. I love Halle so much and so proud of her, I wanna cry. She gave this her all. Singing this at 3 am, six takes to get different shots, I’ll always support Halle ❤❤❤

I just love the breath she takes at the end of that big note. So many people miss it because they are reacting to that big note.

She needs to be on Broadway ASAP fr. The fact that I can play this song in my car & literally still feel her emotions is crazy. Most of her acting is in her voice 😩😩

As a huge Little Mermaid fan I was scared they’d choose an actress who looked like cartoon Ariel, but couldn’t sing like Jodi Benson. But this girl has a BEAUTIFUL voice that’s SO princessy. She feels like Ariel to me. 🥰 Can’t wait to see the movie!

This performance gives me chills. She is a PERFECT Ariel. And Chloe x Halle’s rendition of “Lift Every Voice” is one of my faves. They are both individually and collectively, amazing singers.

Andy, two songs which affected me greatly were - Celine Dion and the Bee Gees singing Immortality. It is stunning. There is a great live video. Secondly, a singer who was regarded by some as the greatest of his era - Mario Lanza who was American. There is a video of him from a feature film in a church singing Ave Maria. I am not a Catholic so that "hymn" was not one close to my heart his voice and the intense emotion of the scene melt even the hardest of hearts.
