His english is getting much better. Brazilian speak portuguese He kills singing stand up

Everyone who knows him will tell you he has worked diligently on his English. Everything you hear is what he has produced on his own with few English speakers around him. "I'm not going to pick on him." and you did. Sounds we take for granted in English do not exist in Portuguese. We hear how he pronounces certain sounds but we also hear that outstanding voice and that's enough for us. English, he will learn but that voice is outstanding. Listen to "Stand up" on the rooftop with the choir and then you'll hear his growth.

Hey Nancy....I just dont get it how they are still focusing on " the Accent "... @@Eliott-wu4gq I didn't want to be harsh but she went into this not knowing anything about him. We are aware of his growth but we also went through the stage of hearing his slight mispronunciations. Someone said in comments about Brazilians just being happy you tried their language and not focusing on little imperfections. But..she did, overall, hear that voice! And I hope she comes back with any Gabriel song she likes cuz we like them all! It's all about the journey and we are picking up new "vagabonds and Wide eyed wanderers" every day!!(referencing Elton John who GH needs to honor?) See you soon!

If GH goes back to the 70s, he will find worthwhile gems full of inspiration, love, and wonderful lyrics. His band can come even more forward (I love seeing them out of the shadows). That generation is just made for him in so many ways. And since most of us are nearing 80 or already hit it, G better hurry!!

He has perfected his craft to a whole new level - and his English diction has greatly improved. He didn’t speak English at all till after AGT. Great reaction! However, this video is several years old. His recent releases show a marked improvement in his English pronunciation as well as an astonishing vocal evolution. Gabriel is currently considered to be one of the two greatest male vocalists in the world, along with Dimash Kudaibergen. He's also an incredible human being, humble, generous, loving....and a hard-core Christian. That last, in my opinion, is why the mainstream music industry has been slow to embrace him, despite his phenomenal talent. Lol! They had better get over that and start writing music for him because the Gospel world HAS taken notice and they have every intention of claiming this treasure. His recent collaboration with Natalie Grant on her "You Will Be Found" and his Gospel performances with orchestras in Washington and Romania bear this out. That would be a shame because EVERYONE deserves to hear his voice.

Tem toda razão. Certamente Gabriel canta em inglês muito melhor do que certos cantores gringos, famosos, inclusive, falantes de inglês, cujos nomes não digo, cantando : Águas De Março, A Aquarela Do Brasil, Garota De Ipanema e outras. Eu só consigo entender algumas palavras que eles pronunciam. Porém aqui no Brasil respeitamos os sotaques de estrangeiros falando ou cantando em português brasileiro. Neste ponto somos educados e comprensivos. Aqui , quando falamos com um estrangeiro e ele pronuncia palavras de modo errado, gentilmente ensinamos a ele o correto, em vez de criticá-lo. Nosso idioma é belíssimo, mas bem difícil.❤

How about he doesn’t speak English at all ! He’s learning now and getting better but back then he would just learn on his own ! He’s self taught too by the way and Portuguese is very hard 😉! In any case and any language he is the whistle king , also note , so many English speaking Americans have sang Spanish songs and we judge on the voice we don’t care about pronunciation, because to some of us it adds a little extra character . Thank u for the reaction we appreciate the support
