The band don't recieve hate anywhere. It's the Norwegian press that is the most poisonous in Europe, unable to give a positive review of anything. No matter what's happening they will find a way to pick on people, write something negative or hurtful. Digging up a dobie from nowhere who is uttering something detorgatory, and they will splash it out as a truth for a whole country.

Og elsker endringene de gjorde til semi-finalen, der sceneshowet er mye cleanere og "ryddigere" (koreografien/kameravinklingene) og du hører koringen ("hviskingen") bedre i miksen ❤❤❤

At least you cannot say they don't go all in here and it is very outstanding in this year's competition. I liked it. There is a little bit of misterious touch and wildness in it. I think a good representation for Norge.

I am in complete love with this song and performance. It widens you, opens you, shakes you, and purifies!

This was meant to be a much longer folk progmetal song, so this is the 3 minute trailer with all the explosions, nude scenes and car chases. 😁

I love what this song expresses, the story behind it and how it was made. It is so much deeper than anything else in the contest. Makes me proud of Norway and our traditions in a good way. Every European nation has treasures that should be expressed like this❤❤❤❤

She sings in dialect and most norwegian dialects are singing friendly, aparently many foreign things it sounds like we "sing" when we speak norwegian, the way our natural language goes in waves.

It’s dialect and a bit of «old» Norwegian stylde. It’s hard to understand for many Norwegians, but not impossible if you actually listen ;)

Norway's song received a clear last place from the Italian telephone votes in the semi-final. In the odds, Norway is in 14th place. On KZread, Norway is one of the least played songs. I find it a bit strange that the song is so disliked by Europe. Is it because they sing in Norwegian? She has such a fantastic voice, so I'm a bit puzzled by this.

This is my personal 2024 favorite, it does not deserve last place for sure, but I can see why it's not for everyone. Its only mistake is not being "eurovision friendly" enough if you ask me.

The only thing I can think of (but it can be a pretty big deal in Eurovision) is that the chorus doesn't have words to sing along to. Would stick better in the voters' memory, for example, if it did. It's a shame, because personally I adore it at this point. The semi-final version is perfect, and I would have loved to see it win. I think the only one I like better is Switzerland.

Nice reaction👍 I’m so proud of our entry this year😍😍 Gåte (gaw-teh) has been a band for years (since 1999 when Gunnhild, lead singer, was only 13/14) and are known for being one of the best live bands in Norway🤘 Their genre is Norwegian folk music mixed with rock/metal Ulveham means wolfskin The intro is an old “kulokk”, a “kulokk” is when the women called/calls the cows home to be milked in the summer, often in the mountains.
