I'm not a Coldplay guy. I've been to countless live shows. I love live music, my wife drug me to a Coldplay concert about 5 years ago. This year I took my 12 year old daughter with us to go see them at Levi Stadium in Santa Clarita CA. It is the best show I've ever been to hands down and I'm now a gigantic fan. It's unreal.

I've heard this so much. I've always been a Coldplay fan, but I think it's so funny how people go to their show and have their minds blown and leave a fan. It happens all the time and I love hearing about it.

haha. i dragged my sister and my brother in law to a coldplay concert in 2009 (viva la vida tour). they didn´t want to go but i had no one else and tickets were cheap, so they came with me. my brother in law wasn´t able to listen to any other music than coldplay for weeks after the show. that´s just what they do to you... ;) i might drag them to the cinema on 29th again. i´m sure again they don´t want to go but they will love it just like back then haha

You don't have to be a Coldplay fan to really appreciate the magic in this performance.

As a brazilian I'm still thinking " we do better than that haha" those lyrics are kinda hard and fast, now Fix You from that same concert is something else, impossible to not have goosebumps 💙

I've always felt that Chris Martin is very economical with his voice when he performs live, likely due to the energetic and kinetic nature of his performance. He just does what he needs to do and sings very reliably.

He shapes his vowels so as to hit that sweet spot where the whole anatomy seems to be resonating like a cello almost 90 percent of the time. This, I believe, is his main component.

Coldplay is the best live show on earth. I will die on that hill.

About what you said at the beginning, they have filled in 4 "Stade de France" in Paris this summer → 80 000 each night = 320 000 fans !!! I was at the third concert, with London Grammar in pre-show ! it was fantastic ! Best concert I've been to ! You can say everything you want about Coldplay but Chris Martin always give everything in their concerts and they give people a lot of joy ! Legend !!! 🤩

I went to see them last May for the first time and it was AMAZING! Fantastic show. You have to go see Coldplay at least once live in your life.

In Buenos Aires they did 10 shows consecutives,absolutely record. One of them broadcasted to all the world on Oct 28th. I went on nov 5th truly amazing!!!

As someone who listens mainly to The Smiths, Radiohead, and Death Cab For Cutie, I don't get why more people don't see Coldplay's first 4 albums as great. Parachutes and AROBTTH especially are in the top 10 albums of the 2000s for me!

Massive Coldplay fan and been to every tour since Viva. Im also a singer, and im with you on the issues regarding weight and fitness. Im a bigger chap especially in the upper body, I have noticed a massive difference from when I started 5 years ago, to now, despite my weight being relatively the same or fluctuating, Just becoming more fit, and in the last 8 weeks ive gone onto the keto diet. The reduction in carbs and sugar, and my general fitness is up and the fatigue in my voice has reduced significantly.

Obviously epic performance, but what I feel is underrated, in a bizarre way, is the fact that you can hear the performer actually go out of breath, trail off, maybe not execute certain things to the utmost standard. And that is just awesome, because you know they are giving it their all, and at the end of the day, that's all you can ask.

When I went to a Coldplay live show in Milan at the end of the concert people were still singing the "ohhhhh" part and it wasn't even the last song

i just keep on smiling watching you while you watching the show. Seeing you loving that song makes my day :)

I'm not a huge fan of Coldplay, but I'd have loved to see them at Stade de France this summer, just to share that crazy energy from their shows... but that went when my schedule was already booked...

Seen them live in the early 2000s on a festival and they do really great shows. Anyways, with this song I prefer the version Postmodern Jukebox did with Puddles Pity Party (aka. the sad clown with the golden voice). Puddles (Mike Geier) is an incredible vocalist.

I love Coldplay. Have from get go. But I think they were a victim of the nickleback syndrome, very popular but as you said overplayed bc its not profane and very middle of the road safe type music for radios to use as their go to and they just became less cool. I however could careless what's popular and what isn't. Coldplay an awesome band!

hardcore metal head here.. Ive seen them live more than once and it is frankly an incredible show. if you like music.. its worth seeing. seriously.. I was the only moron in Philly this year that wore a megadeth tour shirt to that show (a megadeth shirt from THIS year btw). The people pedaling bikes in 100* weather was... just fucking stupid. Like good luck. I have pics... it was silly. I was HOT not even moving. Oh and then it stormed. straight up lighting and rain the dude DID NOT MISS A BEAT.

No way man, they just evolved. People think they went straight up pop but its not true, those are just the singles for the radio. Dig into their albums like Mylo Xyloto, Everyday Life, and Ghost Stories. There's some killer songs in there.

I have never heard of Coldplay getting 'stick'...I just see & hear positive stuff about them all the time 😂
