The reason why we connect this song with the James Bond franchise (even if we wouldn't know it's a Bond theme song) is because all of the Bond songs have a very similar chord arrangement (pretty sure it's even a rule when creating a bond theme song). Just listen to a couple and you will notice. E.g. Sam Smiths Writings on the Wall and Billies no time to die

It's the guitar doubling the vocal line. The chords and melody can be different, but that effect still sounds the same. No counterpoint or harmony that you would normally expect, just parallel parts in a different octave.

A couple of elements I've noticed in recent bond songs that give it the bond-y vibe (I am not an expert by any means, these are just observations): 1. Most of them are in E-Minor or C-Minor 2. They use the leading note a lot (the leading note is the seventh note in a diatonic scale, in the case of E minor, it's a D#/Eb) 3. The guitar tends to parallel the main melody rather than a counterpoint or separate melody 4. Orchestral elements
