This performance was a collection of techniques that she has been honing for years, for this very moment. You mentioned that you had not heard some of these things from her before. Her fans have been hearing all these things from her, and that is why we sing her praises every chance we get. I heard little elements all throughout that song that were snippets of stuff all over her cover channel. There was a lot of things that amazed me about this performance (the voice, the song, the arrangement, the control), but the thing that amazes me most was how she was able to take so many of those techniques that are so uniquely Angelina, and put them together so cleanly into one 2 minute showcase of her abilities. She just couldn't have done better in the choices she made on this performance.

Yes, and with all that technique "in the background" so to speak, or as a tool, all the audience experience in the moment is cascades of two-way communication of emotions between her and them. This is so great at so many levels that I haven't processed it fully yet :) Neither had that girl in the audience, it looked like she knew that something very special is happening, but her brain could't really figure out what.

@@johnnybgbg yes, even the well seasoned Angelina fan has trouble processing this. While I was watching this I was wondering what it must sound like to someone that had never heard her. To me it sounded like everything Angelina, so familiar, so easy, so emotional.... so Angelina. There's really no way for me to hear it from the "outside". I have noticed in watching this flood of reaction videos for it, that the ones that have been doing Angelina already have a more analytical reaction to it (as they already know what she sounds like and is capable of), but the ones that are hearing her for the first time.... they all have a bit of a bewildered reaction... like they can't fully process what they are hearing.

@@RustyShacklefordChannel It's probably both older newcomers who loves that a young person performs real artistry as in the old days, something they have missed since the 90's, and also young people that gets chocked that music can sound like this. I hope more young artists follow in her footsteps and the world realises that Gagnam style isn't the ultimate music experience :)

From Iowa, USA; OK, WOW ❗🤗🌹 1. An important thing to remember about AJ is that she refused to sign for a record deal through AGT and they relented and invited her to sing anyway. 2. AJ is currently signed with Republic Records. 3. She began singing at 18 months and due to her grandmothers influence, she was drawn to and fell in love with jazz and blues music. 4. She has been arranging most, if not all of her music performances since she was 8 years old. Hopefully this will remain as she continues her career with Republic. 5. Currently in 2022 she still performs barefoot and I hope by now that you have discovered the incredible reason why she does that. 6. AJ sews her own clothes, (the cloth is designed by her grandmother) and she stands 6 feet tall at 15 yeats old! 7. We all hope to enjoy her performances for many years to come. 8. BTW I'm 80 and have been involved privately in music since age 7.

Angelina is 14 today, so HAPPY, HAPPY Birthday to you, Angelina. I've watched a lot of talent shows, and seen and heard many audience reactions, but I don't believe I've ever heard one quite like that. This performance is getting worldwide attention and has already gone viral on You Tube. What she did with that iconic rock song, both her arrangement and performance, is INCREDIBLE!! Great singers has done so much hard work that when they enters the stage, they don't have to think about what they've learned. They totally can focus on the moment. Sometimes when they get asked if it went well, they say "I have no idea what happened out there". I guess that's the case here. She was disconnected from reality, she said she didn't get that she got the buzzer until she saw the golden confetti. On the other end of the spectrum is all the singers that thinks "now I'm gonna do this run", and it sounds like emotions but it isn't.

Vocal Coach, you are spot on. When I heard this the first (and 20th and 100th) time, my jaw just dropped. I hear Nora Jones and Amy Winehouse in there, but Angelina definitely has a style all her own. I am a 67 year old man, a former jazz musician and music teacher, and I cry every time I watch this. I hope she has managers who will have her best interests at heart and not just the money. After seeing this, I watched other videos of her on KZread. Some were outstanding, some were OK. A big concern I have is that they are over-sexualizing her. She's 13 years old, for God's sake. Let her be a teenager and allow her to grow into the superstar she is destined to be!

Beatnik 66 "That little girl" is over 6 feet tall....If you do some research (why she's performs barefoot, her work for charity, her parents stewardship of her career, her support system, etc.), you won't feel sad for her....If you get a chance to watch the recent CNN special on Linda Ronstadt (it was excellent), you'll see that the industry doesn't destroy all the greats.

I love all genre of music, but know zip about how the various sounds are produced. I really appreciate your explanation of how the body generates different sounds. Approaching 70 and have been listening to singers since the late 50s. Angelina is among the top 1%, she may actually be in league of her own, because some of the masters in their craft could not cross over to other genre as effortlessly as she. I am grateful I have enough years left to see her achieve the fame she so richly deserves.

I've noticed that there are no reactions to Pentatonix, the world's greatest a capella band. The forefathers of home free and all others, and by far the superior. Their covers are really upgrades, and often surpass the original. This being bohemian rhapsody, and Angelina's version, it would be hard to top her, but Pentatonix gives queen and the barefoot princess a run for their money. I'd suggest their breathtaking version of Leonard Cohen's classic, hallelujah as a good starting point. Last I looked it had nearly 700 million views on youtube. Check it out, they will drag you down a rabbit hole that you will be thankful for. We are all a little mad down here, so join us

Lynette Pascua I agree with you. And China's Singer Show is fantastic!! The level of talent is absolutely world class, production values are off the charts and the backing orchestra is top-notch. It makes all the "______'s Got Talent" shows look 3rd rate.

I’ve been a fan of Angelina ever since she entered Norway’s got talent but I have to say that she got a lot of buzz when she won but after a few years it died down so that’s why a lot of people don’t know abt her. But she continued to make videos on KZread and I’ve been waiting for her to get a call from AGT Champions because I believe she REALLY belongs there and the chance of her winning is so high! There is a difference between a singer and an artist. Singer can change the colors of a song and make it her style, but the intent is still with original singer. An artist can take the same song, rearranges the colors and applies different strokes, and created a new song with vastly different outlook. The signature of this Bohemian Rhapsody still belongs to Queens / Freddie Mercury, but the definition is all defined by Angelina.

I hope she manages to avoid the hit pressure of the musical industry shes now signed up too, mostly for the $. I believe this young talent has the ability to find an entirely new way of doing music, and is in the process of finding something unique. Music industry and contracts, give this one the ability to go where none have gone before.
