You asked for a similar voice to Diana here it is ,well the closest I've ever heard anyway .Alexandra , A very famous German singer that died young in a car crash .Like Diana she sung in many languages German English .French .Hebrew Russian from what I know , kzread.info/dash/bejne/lHWOm7mHhNK4Y9Y.html . Great commentary. I discovered Diana during the pandemic... The only good thing to come out of this. I can't get over her tone and timbre. I just about have to hear her sing every day now and I never heard of her just a few months ago.

Diana Ankudinova possesses the most unique mesmerizing memorable amazing atavistic tribunal primordial shaman goddess voice in the world -any age. At age 14 her incredible and legendary performance of an old ritual wedding folk song titled “ rechenka” ( River in English) Is -to this day-considered by many professional vocalists and coaches as the most unique and mesmerizing live performance by a vocalist -any age , in the history of Russian talent shows. And along with “ Human” ( low notes to die for.. she’s a rare mezzo contralto ) and “ Wicked Game” contributed to her winning not only the kids contest for 2 consecutive years but catapulted her to international stardom. with millions of avid followers worldwide. And you might want to read a little about her tragic younger years as an orphan abandoned and tossed into a garbage can unable speak for years after she was up for adoption by her birth mother at age 3. The scandal described by you on The Voice Kids occurred in 2019. The results were revised almost immediately - you should have said so. Diana did not participate in this competition. H of The Stage - Or she is the goddess, I love her voice and I personally have a naturally lower voice which made singing, without being put in the male role a lot, pretty hard. It was always somehow embarrassing and people would always make fun of me for my voice (but people used to call me a giraffe and my neck almost doesn’t exist so) Point is my embarrassment, as well as some bad life circumstances that I don’t care to recount, made me start to really hate that my voice never cracked to that high point in middle school or high school. I always talk as little as possible and when I do I try to change my pitch so people don’t look at me like a big doof. I always thought my voice was just bad or too scratchy or something but now that I’ve seen that there are women who have beautiful and deeper voices it just makes every word Diana sings hold so much meaning and weight and I love it so much. It makes me think that maybe the problem is that I just need to work on changing my voice to have a deeper tone and not a higher one. I’m gonna cry, her voice makes me feel so many painful emotions and I wouldn’t trade that feeling for any happiness in the world because those raw and painful emotions are beautiful just as much as this girl’s voice is. Hearing this Diana’s voice and how beautifully she sings, not regardless of her deep voice but *because* of her deep voice, makes me want to go back into playing around with music. Thanks Diana for reigniting my passion for music. I need to catch up on a whole lot since I haven’t been singing for quite a few years.

Great reaction, first time ever someone reacting to a singer that actually know what they are talking about with the underlying harmonic structure of the voice. I heard an operatic contralto once well in the 70's when I was singing in Germany and Holland. Her last name was Bugg and I think her first name was Clare maybe, its been a long time but she could change resonating spaces and patterns kinda like Diana and fast dang she could change fast. The point is that of the ten thousand or so singers that I have heard over 60+ year its the only other one that I can think of that had that sound.

her voice totally feels dark/creepy (in a good way), just like many natural motions/phenomenons feel like (when you both kinda scared and curious at the same time). It's as if Diana was brave/desperate enough to look(feel) deeper, usually psyche traumas could cause that kind of behivour. I know one military dude, he said some tactics squads actually make people go through such things to unlock their mental potential. So i would definitely assume some serious childhood traumas there honestly, this depth of general involvement just isn't normal for her age

Hi H, (this was on 25 Sept 2021 - next show is 2 Oct 2021) (Elvis Presley cover) This was the first of 9 shows. Each contestant(9) gets to sing 1 song of 9 different 'genres/styles'. In this first show Diana had to do a song from the Grammy Awards, next show someone else will have to do the Grammy. The tenth person in the middle of the top row is a different guest each show. The FULL video link below has 11 segments, the first is an intro to the show, the 9 that follow are all of the contestants performing, the second last segment is Diana singing, and the last segment is the voting session. No contestant can vote for themselves. The scoring points are from 2 to 9 and each point can only be given once in every show. (NO Judges, voting done by contestants) The contestants are as follows: 7 from the "Mask" show and 1 from the "Superstar"(Alica Mon) show, also 1 from the "You Are Super"(Diana) show.
