I would recommend "Human" next. It is almost entirely in her first register and she really enjoys performing it. When you watch, remember that there are no effects on her voice, it is all her.

Nobody sings with more power and passion and intensity than Diana. She makes you believe everything she sings. She captures you into her world and doesn't release you until she chooses to. There is nobody in the world who sings like Diana because nobody CAN sing like Diana. She's not one in a million. She's one in seven billion. Actually, this song is a folk song. Should _any_ rendition of a folk song be considered a cover? If you mean another famous performer of this song - Alla Pugacheva, then the arrangement of this folk song used by Diana is very different from Pugacheva's one, isn't it?

@@annsouren There is a video of another Russian artist singing this ten or so years ago. Apparently she is well known in Russia and it was a big hit. "Man of Constant Sorrow' is a folk song made popular in "Oh Brother Where Art Thou". Home Free is said to have done a 'cover' of it. Regardless, makes for great conversation and BTW, Diana knocked it out of the park. This is my favorite of hers.😃

Hi Ann! What a wonderful reaction! You mentioned her stage presence, and it brought to mind a video I saw where she was in a live stage concert, and there was a "gentleman"who had paid good money with the sole purpose of heckling her. She ruled the situation as gracefully as she does the stage in all her songs. She wouldn't engage him in discussion, but simply pointed out that if he was unhappy, he shouldn't be there and eventually he was escorted out. She handled it perfectly. I LOVE this lady!

Me Voy, the song in Ladino dialect of Spanish language (flamenco style) was performed by Diana Ankudinova when she was just 10 days shy of her 14th birthday. That is also the whole package even without the scenery on the stage ! Diana is actually a singer-actress.

The song rechenka or little river, is a Russian folk song, even before Christianity, that an orphan girl comes to the river and prays to the spirits of nature. The song is about the fact that my mother, father and brothers were killed by the enemies, there is no one to take care of her. There are about 30 variants of this song, but the basis of the content of each of the variants is the sad appeals of the orphan bride to her deceased parents, asking them for "blessings" and help for marriage, for a family to strangers. There are other versions of this song, where the heroine appeals to her brothers, and even to her parents, with a call to return to earth in the form of a bird to her native home. At the end of the song, the girl sails away to a strange tribe, to a strange family. This song appeared before 900 AD, before the Russians sailed to conquer Constantinople and converted to Christianity. The roots of the song are in pagan Russia, it is a very, very old folk folklore. And since Diana is an orphan herself, this topic is very close to her. When Diana sang this song, she was only 14 years old.

Время восторгов,талантами Дианки,должно пройти когда-нибудь,и наступить другое-время сотрудничества,предложений,соавторства и т.д. Девочка заслуживает МИРОВОГО признания,не меньше!Ей бы своих песен по больше,что бы ее начали воспринимать,как самостоятельного артиста... Главное,за нее не решать,чего она хочет,но,если бы она хотела,то могла бы своим голосом,алмазы резать,или чугун отливать чушками!Таким голосом,как у нее,людьми можно буквально повелевать,лишая воли,отправляя на смерть,или наоборот,павших воскрешать,вселяя надежду,предавая им сил сражаться,и жить!Она прекрасна,если еще кто не понял,настоящий уникум!Что-то я расчувствовался,простите

Здравствуйте, Abbe ! Спасибо Вам большое ! Вы очень точно подметили казалось бы второстепенные детали выступлений Дианы, и сделали отличное обобщение, приведя их, так сказать, к общему знаменателю. Полностью согласен с Вами, что появление такого феномена, как Диана, именно сейчас, не случайно, а следствие провидения, или "божьего промысла" (пользуясь общепринятым выражением, безотносительно к какой -либо конкретной религии, и к религиям вообще). P.S. Вы пишете : - "Почему она не взяла фамилию приёмной матери и не стала называться Анкудиновой ?" Вы, конечно, хотели сказать, почему она не взяла фамилию Поник, фамилию "приёмной матери" Ирины Поник. Дело в том, что Ирина не удочеряла Диану, а только взяла под опеку, хотя "де факто" исполняла роль приёмной матери все эти годы. Всего Вам доброго ! 🙋‍♂️👋

Теперь, конечно, возникает вопрос, почему не было усыновления, если вы понимаете, о чем я! Диана действительно очень интересная молодая женщина, и не только из-за своего уникального, замечательного голоса. Все ее окружение не менее интересно. Поэтому мне очень любопытно посмотреть, что еще будет привнесено в мир с ее подачи в будущем. Всего наилучшего вам и тому, что для вас важно.

Хмм у Анны очень выраженный акцент похожий на русский ну или восточноевропейский...
