Rebecca is a passionate Singer-Songwriter/Vocal coach/mentor /impressionist/photographer/creative junkie /self- development lover not a hater.
“I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2016. However, despite not being able to walk for a few weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and try to practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…we are all specks of dust…Also thank you for all your support. It means a lot. I have suffered from anxiety from the past and self confidence, (yeah hard to see now right) didn’t think I was ‘good, or worthy enough’ but I feel I have a new lease of life, don’t really care as much and want to show you guys what I have! : ) You are all awesome and without you, there would be no channel. “

She is an extremely versatile singer. A vocal powerhouse. She can hit high notes and still sound pleasing. She can do intentional vocal breaks at will, squeaks, whistle, rap, dance, do different genres. She is like the busiest singer for the past year till now. So many people/companies get her to do shows like almost every day and yet she still has this powerful voice. She is amaaaazing!!!

It's possible you'll reach half a million followers. Filipinos love hearing foreigners reacting to our singers. You're very technical and you have deep knowledge about music, compared to other KZreadrs who only react for reaction's sake, and who have no knowledge about singing techniques. Maintain you're style of reacting, and surely you'll reap what you sow. Keep it up. I'm a fan.

You did miss a few things like her sustained run on one breath, it's insane! But to be fair, so did I. I've binge watched her videos over and over again cuz it just boggles my mind how she transitioned into the whistle from chest voice with the same breath! I've never seen that before! Also, Rachel's last whistle note was beautiful. The tone was strong and pitch perfect.

The way she sang, you can feel her heart overflows with kindness, emotions and compassion. She is the serenity amidst the chaos of what's going on with the world right now. With her heavenly vocal control, techniques, runs, riffs, range, register, resonance, squeaks, breaks, cracks, cry, vibrato, tone, belt and who doesn't remember her divine whistle notes (let's not forget about that) that are all so majestic she can easily sedates everyone's life turbulence and turned it into hope and love and music. She is all, and she is more that's why since before we loved her... beyond measure.. beyond reason.. beyond time.. and we'll still loving her... and we'll always and forever will be.😍

OMG posted 15 minutes ago and already 500 views. Good things come to good people, so happy for you RVA. I loved how Mori gave you, what we say in America "Goose Bumps" when she hit the whistle register. I remember Rachael from your last student showcase. She impressed me with her two songs. I think she did a awesome job, with her whistle notes. Please tell her, if she starts a YT channel, I for one would be delighted to look at her singing videos, and watch her growth as a singer.

Chasing Enigma along the way she will be getting a cross some of the not so good performances of morissette. Being technical and looking for areas of improvement is diff from bashing like a very obvious bashing. Dats d one we wouldnt prefer to hear, well.. it's normal especially from those who are bitter to her. So be it lol

musika majika I feel the same way. Compared to other reactors who are more on stating opinions or personal preference based on what will impress them or please them, vocal coaches are guided by technical knowledge and yes it is very risky to present a bad performance to them coz they really know if there's something wrong, and they know what must be right.. I just feel like off to those who reacted negatively on ur comment, u just said very risky to have a reaction from a technical (professional) person which is true, I wonder, why there are some people who tend to be stupid thinking and trying to prove something else that wasn't even on the context of what uve said. Well as uv mentioned maybe these people are just insecure or bitter to morissette. That's the only thing I could also think of, very identified to filipinos who prefer another artist over someone doing better and receiving good feedback compared to their bet, I kind of hate that filipino trait though. Sorry for these people or filipino fans. I wish their bets could do better too.

"Akin ka na lang" is the hardest song in the philippines. 🤗 (I can't believe this, This is my own opinion and I know some of my fellow filipinos were not agree about my opinion,😂 this comment was referring to my experienced about the song and I am not insisting to everyone that, this song is the hardest sole, I haven't heard about other songs that is why, Akin ka na lang is the hardest song for me. Gets?) (I pinned my point through the edge of the cliff, to end this unpopular opinion)😂

Morissette is indeed a phenomenal singer of our generation and she's the only one I've heard so far who can give justice to Mariah Carey's songs particularly "Through The Rain" which in my opinion, is the most difficult song ever. I like the way you react and coach at the same time. It's good to have some technical insight as well for those who don't know much about singing. She had impressed all vocal coaches who reacted to her so far. Her vocal coach had done a great job if she has one. She's got one of the most beautiful voices I've heard in a while. I'm glad you pointed out how difficult it is to whistle because a lot of people take it for granted and even bash her for it. How can anyone bash on such great talent? Anyway, new sub here! Three singers I know I will love for life: Floor Jansen, you, and one I didn't know you made a video on until today: a fellow Filipino, Morissette. :) I knew you were going to spot the vocal crack when she shoots it for the first time, and when she did, I knew you were going to react the way you did. And I thought, "Don't worry, Rebecca. She's going to give you A LOT of those!" Those split-second bliss strikes! I know that that vocal crack move has been there for ages, but it was Morissette who "introduced" me to it and made me fall in love with it with her cover of "Secret Love Song" (Her Wish 107.1 Bus version). And god, did I start waiting for it to be done by just about every female singer. Vocal crack just has an unexplainable effect on me. It's very emotional, powerful, time-stopping, and sexy. Floor Jansen of Nightwish who I know you also esteem highly also pulled a killer vocal crack in the song "Endlessness" from their current album, Human Nature. I play that song over and over for that one time she'd do it, and it was done at the best part of the song it could be done. I don't know what it's called in music but there was some build-up and then at the peak of that build-up that's where she does it! If you run across this comment, you may want to consider doing Nightwish again to react to that song: Endlessness.

I love your reactions. 😄 You remind me so much of my vocal coach when I was younger. So much passion and love for music and singing. Keep the videos coming,Rebecca! 😄 And I really, really love how you stop the video to give your comments/thoughts about certain stuff the singer is doing. It feels like I'm 15 again getting coached on how I should sing a song and how to perform it to the best of my abilities. Haha! Subscribing now. ❤

musika majika : Yes, being named after musically famed people, Mori's parents somehow new (at birth) they already had a musical genius. Or maybe the parents have training techniques they've saved just for their own children. Most, almost ALL singers in the PH are trained by their parents, so wouldn't be surprised.

The whistle of your student is good. Needs little more practice though to sustain it and make it play around with notes but it is a good start and having those whistles is a talent. I wish I could do whistle now as I had back then when I was a child but puberty sucks so I just had to accept it. Thanks for reacting to our Morissette Amon, check her Asian Music Festival video as she sang Emotions by Mariah Carey there and be impressed with her whistles to whistles like playing it. LOL.
