Tori Kelly is unreal. Her mix/riffs/artistry is just so freaking incredible. Her Suit&Tie cover is what made me a fan of hers. Her angelic voice moves me and the fact that she’s so underrated is okay to me... reason being she doesn’t over sexualize herself like other artists, which isn’t a bad thing but she stays true to herself and her morals and values which is very respectable. I hope to see her as one of those artists like Adele/Ed Sheeran who get really big by story telling through hit songs which I know she has the capability of doing. Her second album will be amazing I know that for sure because her first one was full of bangers.

She was wearing a dress with a huge serpent on it while singing the prayer. This was a stylists doing and it WAS intentional. You can find the symbolism in every part of the music business. But the more fame, the more symbolism; beyonce, Gaga, Dua, Katy, etc. it’s all right in front of us. “Selling your soul” is not just a saying.

Every time I see tori appreciation videos, I feel the need to mention how under appreciated her talent is and who she is as a whole. I grew up near her so we attended the same youth group in middle school/ high school and I can’t explain how genuinely nice and wholesome this girl truly is! I didn’t have many friends, but she always reached out to me when I seemed down and she blessed our ears every Wednesday singing in the youth band. I had no idea she was this internet sensation until I saw her on American idol because she’s just THAT HUMBLE. Thanks for this video, I love me some Tori Kelly!

You don’t understand what you’ve just done for me! When you were talking about using your mix voice. I always struggle with my higher range in full voice and whilst I have managed to widen it a little, I am straight up an alto- can’t sing too low, can’t sing too high. HOWEVER as soon as you started talking about using my mix voice I tried it and OMG, it’s real! 😂 I annoyingly wrote a song out of my usual key the other day, and have to run to my head voice to sing my chorus but now, BISH, I can reach it using my mix voice. I just have to keep practicing with it! Wow.

Just saw her recently live, since the release of her new album. I have been to dozens of live shows but the amount of talent that girl has is immeasurable! Blows everyone else out of the water! She is absolutely flawless live. And the fact that she released a gospel album knowing that it could completely ruin her career, gives me the most respect for her! Hiding Place is FANTASTIC! This girl is the most talented person in the music industry IMO. She does not get the credit she deserves but maybe that's for the best. Sometimes the fame and fortune, ruins people.
