Let me be completely transparent with you guys since I want to build a community based on trust here. *This was not my first BTS video!* When I was a smaller channel (less than 300 subs or so) I analyzed their high notes and falsettos video. That video consists of some cam-recording and also not so great video/audio quality. I did a mistake of not knowing anything about BTS before I recorded and posted the video in a hurry that day. In that video like in this one I said how much I enjoy the dancing and how I think they are very hardworking. I said like a bunch of times that I really like it, but that I felt that there was some lip sync here and there. In the comments people pointed out that was because of the backing singers in some songs. I also said that I really like everything from dancing to the great melodies and that I would like to go to their concerts, but the army is merciless and they only heard the "bad" stuff. I'm sorry if it seemed like I was roasting BTS because honestly I really respect them. If i didn't like them I wouldn't even bother doing a video!! Anyway, I deleted the video because I didn't feel it was well prepared and so I spent time listening to their other videos and decided that it was finaly time to fix that a bit - new song, new analysis. Sorry if it turned out bad that time, but I can admit my mistake. More importantly - I mean every single word in this video, I love their dedication to every single detail and I look forward to analyzing more of their videos, especially acoustic and acapella where I can really focus on the vocals. Peace and love!

you don't need to apologize for speaking your mind, I am an army and wouldn't bother if they do lip sync at times cause I understand that this amount of dancing and physical activity would be straining and exhausting, it would be truly hard to keep up with the stable singing and flawless vocals at all times. Thank you for being so sincere and wish you all the best..

BTS are famous for their insane work ethic and stamina, with their elaborate 3 hour long concerts + over 20 songs + intense choreography. No one is doing it like them! Backstage crew even commented how exhausted they are after shows, sometimes even needing breathing appliances. Talent and hard work never betrays you and BTS are definitely an inspiring example of that.

There's clips of them singing while working out, for example, on the treadmill in order to train their voices to be stable. They train and work so hard. I'm not a kpop fan (no hate), it's just not my taste.....but, I love BTS. I'm a proud ARMY, so it goes without saying that I'm so proud of them, this performance was amazing 💜💜💜

@@cofatariah6228 kpop is an industry, not a genre (in my opinion). Take this song for example. If you played just the song to a local who doesn't know what kpop is or what the korean language sounds like, they would probably describe it has hiphop/trap. But of course it's unique to BTS who have included the traditional korean intruments as a way of embracing and celebrating their culture which is not done often in kpop. It's no lie that kpop gets bad rep for being manufactured or exploitive of it's artists', however I like to think BTS' situation is very different from those notions. BTS have atleast had some creative control over their art since pre debut and even more so now. I should also mention that although I'm an Army, I dislike most aspects of the industry with a burning passion. In my opinion, if it wasn't for the industry, BTS would've been appreciated ages ago far more and it wouldn't have taken so long for BTS to be recognised in their own country.

@@tasnimahmed1463 Even so, BTS is from the "Kpop Industry" as you say. They're no different from any other Kpop group, except for the fact that their music is portrayed in a more inspiring and positive way. Other than that, they don't differentiate from other Kpop groups, thus if you like BTS, it's considered you like Kpop. No, not all of Kpop, but BTS *is* a Kpop group. There was no reason to say you aren't a Kpop fan anyways, just saying you like BTS is fine. Also, not to mention some companies are abusive toward their idols, unlike BigHit with BTS. So, you're right, some groups may not be able to do what BTS does, but that's because they aren't allowed to.

@@cofatariah6228 I respect your opinion, but I stand by my own. I have no problem against the "k" but I don't want others to think that BTS only do "pop", since people often use the term kpop as a genre when it's not. BTS does not equal a toxic industry. Of course not everthing about the industry is bad/shady. I don't believe liking BTS is equivalent to liking kpop (which as I said in my original comment, I see more of as an industry). I don't really feel the need to embrace the term "kpop" as a connotation to BTS either since all that matters is what BTS mean to me. In my opinion, BTS are too different in almost every way compared to other groups to be boiled down to just "kpop".

wow i'm korean army and actually surprised that u noticed the korean traditional sound! that's exactly correct. also so much thanks for acknowledging their efforts. they are really craazzzy hard workers. they live with chronic muscle pain due to the violent dances. Black Swan is one of their softest dance compared to most of their other choreography. If u watch IDOL live performance, i'm seriously afraid they'll be break their bodies lol. +) the reason why they're barefoot in that performance is the choreography is mix of contemporary dance (similar to ballet and usually performed in very light clothes & barefoot) and hip hop dance. that's why their clothes are just simple black, light and silky, and there's some movements like lifting their one foot and spin which looks like ballet.

Loved the reaction💕 don’t let the bad ARMYs overwrite the good ones. Just keep doing you! So since you’ve titled this with vocal coach I think you should react to House of cards live, If you haven’t already seen it that is. Regardless, can’t wait for your next video. Stay healthy and happy ☺️💕

3:44 for every comeback they got a chance to learn new dances and songs around 6-10 months depending on the length of the album. Many of their songs are produced and written by BTS members themselves (sometimes 1 song is produced and written by >1 member, along with the help of other producers) so I guess since they're the creators of their own crafts that makes them learn the new songs quicker? Nevertheless on a regular basis, they spend more than 10 hours in the practice room. Their work ethic is no joke.

@@HofTheStage I didn't mean you shouldn't like it, I'm saying it's not unique to BTS. Believe me, I've been listening to kpop for nearly 10 years and I love everything about it. I'm a linguist and this code mixing delights me.

Thank you for watching BTS. That's okay! I have read your pinned comment and honestly, you don't have to worry because people will recognize sincerity. I have been stanning BTS for 6 years now and in my opinion, BTS is bad doing lip sync. Most of their performances are they singing live. You can easily say if they're doing lip sync in which it rarely happens.
