What is so great about her singing that it looks to be second nature to her. She isn’t overly conscious about singing correctly because it all comes natural to her, whereas I see a lot of the other singers really strain and tire out. Although not as good as Whitney Houston’s vocals but she seems to have that similar vocal tone and effortless singing and able to concentrate on the songs meaning rather than technique.

Omg, this happens ALL THE TIME! They ALWAYS want to show idols being perfect, and even add autotune when it isn't needed, a good example will be MAMAMOO, the 3rd gen K-pop queens in singing!

We know some parts NCT's performance were not lip syncing cause sometimes their voices crack as they are performing which is perfectly normal lmao. I suggest you watch a From Home music show performance as it showcases nct's vocals

Not to mention nowadays, people are also expecting really complex choreography and obsessed with which group does the hardest dances and they're just getting more and more complicated. With all these crazy dances its almost impossible to pull off while being on pitch singing and not be out of breath at the same time. These are human after all not robots. They're just here to provide you with entertainment and we should appreciate it as is. We know they can sing and they can dance. They obviously edit things to tv to make it "prettier" because again, it's entertainment and there really isn't anything wrong with that.

This is why I always check fancams of the exact same performance to make sure the music show didn't edit it or if the singers aren't using auto tune.

I think you should check out Jung Eunji , she is an amazingly talented vocalist who is always challenging herself to become a better vocalist . Please do give her a chance and check out some of the covers she has done

I guess no matter what those K-Pop idols do, they can only lose. I remember watching a BTS live performance video with only isolated vocals. Of course they didn't sound as good as in other videos where they used backtrack, but isn't it *normal* to not sing perfectly while jumping and running around? The comments were truly disgusting and full of hate. Many people said "BTS can't sing" although they aren't bad singers at all. It's just so difficult to sing correctly during a hard choreography.

True!! There are not easy...let's say how do you want to expect when you had try hard to practice singing while dancing...but don't think due to hard practice, there are no flaw during singing live..it is based on luck..some performance is perfect, some is not..

Honestly, I don't really trust that so called live performances. But I love when they release raw footages which I liked. Maybe because those live performances did have post production magic for commercial purposes. So yeah, decent raw vocals are still top notch. But it is also having a very sharp ears to hear flats and sharps when idols do the encore. Yyeeaahh

Love your videos as always your always so freaking positive and helpful in your commentary. A suggestion for another reaction would be singe LP (Laura P((cannot remember spelling))). 3 songs of hers, lost on you, muddy water and strange. Yeah you are right , singers should enjoy themselves when singing not being pressured by being perfect. Not all people have the nature talent to sing but hardwork also can pay off. I watched my super junior boys grew up and their vocals did get greatly improved by times somes where already great since debut and now become more than perfect and others were just extra doing rapping parts now started showing off their vicals and I was surprised by how far did they come. Sometimes receiving criticism and harsh judgment let them scary to try and improve to their best, just give up and passed with jokes as singing is not for me we have in our group other great singers that do all the work we just have to dance and support them on variety shows but time passes and one by one discovered his true passion for singing and to give more to this group and fans, For heechul he discovered how precious is his career as a singer in super junior was when he was in the army and when he come back surprised everyone with the new heechul, he regained his faith in his singing abilities and learned how to comeover his long lasting trauma when he did get off note on one of their comeback stages and damm his vocals was no joke! He can easily be the main vocal in any other boyband group, shindong started to want his existence in suju to never be forgotten just before his enlistment when he surprised us with his ballad solo stage for the first time we could hear his voice and surprisingly he got such beautiful tone, it was so regretful to only discover it after like 9 years since debut, eunhyuk was lucky enough to have his bestfriend not welling to do a solo debut and insisted in debuting with his as D&E subunit he improved a lot in both singing and rapping. It's just heartwarming to see them improving and still want to give and show more of their talent and abilities to their fans even after this long way of being kpop group starts

I have heard my favs cracked their voices or lip-synced choreography-heavy parts and high notes on live stages but it's not a big deal to me. But I get disappointed when literally the whole song is lip-synced, especially on comfortable parts and when I know they can definitely slay their parts. It's not the idols' fault tho cuz mostly the company or the show producer is the one who decides on the sound engineering stuff.

She has a beautifully soulful voice so please try and react her voiceeeeeeeeeee

I am sure companies big or small did the same thing when it comes to live singing. They did a lot of live singing recordings (live AR) ALSO live singing rehearsals which is perform while singing live w backtracks during practice. Certain music shows allow lipsync some not, some are allowed for comeback stages week then sing live w backtracks for the other weeks also just lipsync every time. Some groups tho hv their mics on while singing to live AR/MR.
