You are "vocally obsessed" with Baekhyun. You, the rest of the kpop industry, and the whole world including me ;) His most recent solo album "Bambi" is a vocal masterpiece (everyone lost their minds over All I Got and Cry For Love) but his other THREE solo albums are works of art too. EXO live is just another world of performance and creativity and beauty. I look forward to all the stages you will get to enjoy from them. Each one has their own specific style (and most have solo songs or albums on top of a very extensive group discography) and they come together into something truly special. Someday perhaps watch some member guides (I love the guides here on YT by Cesar Oh) and you'll get to know the range of musical and acting and dancing and everything talent among these amazing humans. x

it's so overwhelming how you pointed out Suho as one of the main singers because we can't blame you dear... but EXO has 3 main vocalists which are Chen, Baekhyun and D.O. hence they said that if Suho were at a different group he could be a MAIN VOCALIST because his vocal is amazingly phenomenal

26:03 that's Suho ! You can't imagine how proud I felt when you assumed he was the main vocalist, he's actually the lead vocalist and the leader. I agree that he could easily be the main vocalist. His solo albums are amazing. His new releases are Grey Suit and Hurdle from his 2 mini album.

An amazing rock performance is Baekhyun with Seo Moontak, Hurt. It’s a style I had never heard before from him.

my running theory still stand that most poc falls in love with D.O voice the first time they hear exo and others are drawn to baekhyun's. just something interesting i noticed. 😆

D.O. is the king of riffs and runs in EXO. Kinda interesting how you didn't really notice him in this performance. Baekhyun and Chen are the other main vocalists. They're all so amazing!

Cause... In this performance, camera didn't focused on D.O. while he was singing background riffs and adlibs. Only one riff part of D.O. was focused by camera and her attention went to smart Choreography at that time.

Ohh guys... D.O. is like Wine. He is not attention stealer or face of the group. I also first noticed Baekhyun and Kai when I first listened EXO. The more I listened their songs, the more I am addicted with D.O.'s adlibs and runs. Now, I am officially in squad of Dandanies. My Favorites are - "Si Fueras Mia" and "Tell Me What is Love". And the whole "Empathy" album is masterpiece. I love each single song of that album. So, let her take times to react more EXO's songs and stages. She will definitely loves D.O. for sure.

Finally someone who really understands that Junmyeon's (Suho) voice isn't ordinary, in fact, he is such an amazingly talented human. There's a reason his voice is used in EXO songs at bridge parts the most, when music and beat almost slow down, because he is THAT melodious and gorgeous. And let's not forget S.Korea named him "human harp" for a reason !

I feel proud of baekhyun when you said ‘you vocally obsess with his voice’. He is my bias and he has wonderful solo albums under his belt. Please check them out. I will list out a few of his famous songs such as U.N Village, Candy, Bambi, All I Got, Cry For Love, Love Again

The member whose riffs you liked at 16:17 was the main rapper of the group but he has amazing vocals too.

I am so happy that you noticed Suho's vocals.... Especially in this performance... I love all their voices because they have such different colour tones but they go so well together.... Also... One of the guitarists is their main rapper who sang and you liked his riffs. So yeah their rappers can sing well too... Check out Chen and Suho's It's Live performances.

We are called Exo Ls. The lightsticks are synced to the control booth one you turn it on in the venue. It changes the color of the light or blinks accordingly or turns off when needed depending on what is being performed. Thanks for reacting to this set. ❤

The way I agree with everything you’ve said! Their vocals are soooooo good and point to note: this was YEARS ago all of them have grown so much vocally even THE BYUN BAEKHYUN. This is the main reason why I’m an EXO-L we are being fed with stellar vocals!

to your comment about training while moving, when i first got into EXO i heard they (and other SM artists) train for concerts by running on treadmills while going through the setlist, so i tried it once and man i was dying 😂 vocalists really put a ton of effort into their instruments

Lay also said that he sings while dancing to train his voice to the moves. So they really do a lot to be performers. I believe he said it while being a trainer in a show.

because you really liked Baekhyun (the one you're vocally obsessed with lol) i'd really recommend checking out some tracks from his latest album Bambi, particularly All I Got and Cry For Love - unfortunately there aren't any lives because he enlisted immediately after release, but wow has he got some pipes Chen is the other one you thought was one of EXO's main vocalists and he is a beast fr 😭 my fav Chen performance is probably May We Bye with Onestar (another amazing vocalist and Chen's vocal coach i believe) - that is true vocal exellence For Chen and Baekhyun together, they did a performance right at the start of their career together on Immortal Songs, it's called Really I Didn't Know They actually have 3 main vocalists, D.O being the 3rd, the one who opened the set, and he's a much more R&B focused vocalist, his agility is insane - I'd recommend his solo track Tell Me What Is Love live, it's so good 😭 for EXO as a whole my fav live of theirs is the MAMA+Wolf+Monster performance, i'd love you to check it out when you can :) Thanks for this reaction 🤍

This is what I miss in 4th gen groups. I feel like vocals aren’t appreciated as much in new groups as all companies care about is looks and dance ability, but vocal performances like this are so special and great for live performances like concerts.

very interesting that you pointed out Baekhyuns resonance because out of the 3 vocalists in exo, he’s actually the one who usually opts for a much more nasal sound. i think what you’re referring to is his very chesty and belty sound here

you have various sources of resonance - with chesty voice it is in chest cavity. With headvoice it is in the nose - you can feel it on the nose bone. Then we have fronted singing with a lot of resonance in the mask etc... :) Resonance is not exclusively connected to chest singing :) I liked how he utilized every single bit of his resonance places making his voice full and spacious while still being very agile moving across the registers. Even his passagio had incredible resonance. :)

16:14 that's our main RAPPER doing those riffs! I love when Chanyeol sings, he has such a lovely rough lower tone - my favorite thing about EXO vocals, beyond their obvious talent, is how _different_ they all sound. I don't know if it's training or happenstance but a lot of groups have several voices that are difficult to distinguish.

Our fandom name is EXO-L 🤗 this performance is one of my favourites ever. It’s old so they have all improved massively in their singing abilities! The one you said you love vocally is Baekhyun and one of three of their mani vocalists. The other two are Chen (stage name, Jongdae real name) and D.O. (stage name, Kyungsoo real name). I would recommend you listen to Chen, he also has his KZread channel where he sings covers and his original songs. Chen’s vocal range is insane! I love them all as they all have their own vocal charms.

I truly love EXO and their voices are so unique and beautiful!!! This past year we saw Suho’s mini album Grey Suit, amazing vocals, then Xiumin with Brand New. We all know how good D.O., Baekhyun and Chen are already and how they can reach high notes. We all have our personal preference and can appreciate different tones and sounds. I love them all and they should all be praised their vocals!

Many great live performances that i cant decide what to suggest~ but if i were to pick, OxFesta with EXO #3, Diamond+Run This+Coming Over+Drop That+Power marathon, and Intro+The Eve+Forever.. Side note: Vocal King not just bcoz of the range only, as technically some other group have that, the difference is how the layering, how their voice really compliment each other, the difference of their color tone, their super amazing harmonies. i donno how to actually describe it.
