The Philippine National Anthem is also one reason we could attribute to how Filipinos improve their vocals, its difficult to sing...

New sub here. Growing up listening these classics, when you hear of artists covering a MC and Boys 2 Men masterpiece one already questions how wise a move that is for said artist. These four Philippino's are like just next level talented. In a country full of high level vocalists, they are at the top end of the spectrum, in my humble opinion. They absolutely nailed this classic. No need to look for another version of this song, it's either this or the original. Done. Dusted. Thank you for coming. Great reaction, to the Philippino Avengers, that's what Budakhel and Katrina when they get together.

I think it's tastefully placed most of the time, personally! He's a HUGE fan of Brian McKnight (someone who's known to have ridiculous dynamics!) so I can see it rubbing off on him :)

I got goosebumps on top of goosebumps listening to them. Individually they are beautiful singers & when harmonising or ad libs it's heavenly 💙.

It is such a sophisticated arrangement and production even with the original with mariah and the boyz coz those riffs blending together takes alot of musicianship and technicalities... A subtle difference between a singer who sings to express from a vocalist who uses their voice as an instrument as well and being both is truly remarkable. ❤

This song I hold on such a high pedestal of songs that really shouldn't be covered and they're one of the few that have nailed it.

Most of the people who can sing in the PH d not have access to vocal coach not because there aren’t any. It’s just that most of us can’t afford to hire a coach. Most of the singers here have not had any encounter with a coach until they are discovered and the networks that discovered them provides the tools they need to improve and hone their craft. Most of of Filipino singers are self taught. ☺️
