For anyone reading, I am currently working way through the false chord ecourse, and I can't recommend it enough. It's super helpful, goes into enough detail but also breaks it down with super simple to follow steps. I'm about halfway through and I've already had like 3 "lightbulb" moments.

Lmao the "it does give off some 'back off I'll take you on' vibes" fucking sent me. Good song, definitely some cool vocal techniques! Nik did an interview with Alex recently and they talked about this song a good bit. Specifically the "fat fucking conflict" bit. Alex mentioned how he's dropping his adam's apple as low as possible for that part, and still working on getting used to that position in his throat in order to do it live. It sounds really cool, might even be less vocal layers than you think, but it also might not be reliably reproduced in a live setting. I'm sure Alex will tell us his secret eventually lmao

If you have the time, would love to hear your thoughts on the vocalists in the Japanese group Broken By the Scream. I always recommend people start with a live for their first listen, the song Tokyo Ride, Live in Tokyo” is an excellent place to start.

Look I get it, If you think Alex Terrible is a terrible person (pun intended), then YOU don't have to support him. However, it is the job of these streamers to cover famous bands, and STP is just one of those many famous bands. If you don't like that some streamers are covering famous bands like they've always done, then I really couldn't care less. These deathcore vocalists are top notch and have such a variety of techniques but I’d love for him to break down some vocalists that perfected their technique. Like maybe Leipa, 1349, Septicflesh, old Suffocation, Tomb Mold, Opeth, or even Death.
