Extremely humle man. I've meet him a couple of times and I've always told him to never stop creating music. His response has always been that he loves what he is doing and will never stop! Let's hope he never does!

I guess when Ronan talks about how nice his audience is... it's mostly because of how nice he is himself. And really he's not talking bullshit. Most of the goth-ebm-industrial crowd is great! Let's keep it that way!

Saw him twice in Tulsa. This interview is the true Ronan. He's helped so many by just being his real self and his honest passion in it.

I'm one of those people who says going to a VNV Nation is a kin to a religious experience. It's not necessary because I worship him but because going to his concerts is such a positive experience. The sense of community and the strength of his songs always has an ability to rejuvenate me.

Love you Ronan! You are super amazing. Can’t wait to see you live again! You probably remember me, I’m the girl that always bawls during “Standing”. That’s because my best friend and I last saw each other at your show at the Phoenix in Toronto. I was moving to Vancouver and she was moving to Nashville and she died of cancer shortly after that. But I will always remember us crying and holding on to each other knowing that time would not stand still. Your lyrics are just so pure and perfect. Thank you, for giving us your gift.

Also I was at the Phoenix show. People were super chill and considerate there.

There is always a weird quasi-militarisic aura around VNV Nation's poetry - the entire thing around vicory, "winning a kingdom", control, extraordinary effort. It often reminds me of the way Adolf was talking in 1940 about the way the new Germany was going to be built from extraordinary effort. It's almost as if Ronan is tappng into the same inspirational rhetoric - luckly without millions of deaths, concentration camps or human atrocity, - just the part around motivation and energy. There is something about he concept of "Jihad" in this as well, which can be interpreted in a postive way as inner struggle for spiritual vicotry, or someone establishing an islamic state cutting off the heads of "infidels". I really like the way VNV is pumping energy into me, but with these kinds of things one always has to watch out for the destructive potential -"No tears No sympathy"
