VNSH Holster - Is it good for concealed carry?

Ойын-сауық

Adds for the VNSH holster are all over the Internet, but does it actually live up to the hype? I'll give you my thoughts, along with a tip you won't see on the VNSH website.

Thanks for this review. I have been annoyed many times by the ads for the VNSH holster and always just click away from it. I have not changed my opinion after this video, but at least I now understand the way the product works. Given my rather excessive waistline I doubt it would fit me comfortably ( yes, I am a Phat Old Man ). But I do now know that it will work with most of my carry pistols and revolvers should I change my mind and get one. Thanks again!

Nice collection of handguns. I have 3in barrel 1911, Colt New Agent, with a trench sight, so no snagging of the front sight.very good review. Detailed, understandable, informative narrative. Snap adjustment is similar to Uncle Mikes cloth holster. Hope your shoulder surgery goes well and is successful. The VNSH holster is a bit pricey compared to to holsters with a similar design. It is a comfortable holster however I found a couple of issues. One, the retention strap needs to be a thumb break on the inside of the firearm for a more natural draw, the other is the need for a retention strap to keep the magazines in place.

I use bellybands regularly for my EDC. I carry 8/9 o'clock as lefty. The application for me goes over the pants under a roomy shirt. I paid 30$ from Amazon on average. The VNSH holster is overpriced compared to what the market offers. I do not see any features that are unique to that holster that justify the higher cost . Thanks for sharing this very well made and detailed presentation.

I've got a Damascus Cerakote HK vp9sk w/holosun on the way and am looking for options to carry. This is the FIRST belly band type holster review with a demonstration of an OPTIC mounted rig......THANK YOU good sir , I truly appreciate the research you provided. The only thing im noticing is that alot of these type holsters are NOT tac light/laser friendly. Lastly would you say that this particular belly band type holster protects/preserves the finish on your handguns ? I don't like to run kydex for this reason. l'll be going through hip surgery soon and will be on crutches even longer than I already have , so these belly band type holsters are calling to me. I dress tactical to conceal but like to dress relaxed in gym clothes more recent cuz of my injury and an EDC bag is cumbersome sometimes in a rush. Thanx again.

As to finish wear, I'm only guessing that this type of holster would cause less wear, though to me, finish wear goes with the territory and just adds character to a working gun. when you watch videos like this, they get you retargeted and just keep delivering ads to you the more you click on their stuff. Until you buy. Then you still get their ads. On the plus side, that means they are making money to pay for ads which means people are buying, hence, social proof that it must be at least an ok holster. Question is, what does their returns look like?

I'm looking to carry in more of a cross draw position and the pistol angle in the VNSH holster would be completely wrong for me. But the flexible belt isn't a bad idea. That said, I have a sewing machine and I know how to use it. I've already sewn a fanny pack holster from Codura and I still have a lot of Codura leftover from that project with which to make a waist band. But I would be more inclined to attach an existing holster that worked well to the waist band.

We love your bravo bravo presentations and your service. This holster did NOT pass muster regarding the stitching. It will start to come undone and then because it’s China-made it WILL (and did on us) come apart quickly. Machine stitching must be done correctly for critical gear to stay tightly together AND also glued seams. That’s why we thumb down it. Best is US MADE. Buy hand saddle stitched if you can cough up a few more bucks. Also, that this holster doesn’t allow cant angle adjustment, not good. The gun’s best safety device is a well made holster FOR THE PARTICULAR MAKE AND MODEL so the trigger well is COVERED.

OK, a lot of these guns are bigger guns that I don't expect to be CC realistically, so for me the first half of your vid is a waste of time. Will the VNSH CC hide a Glock 42? That's my CC gun, and realistically it's the biggest true compact pistol other than a derringer type or snub nose 38, but I'm not a fan of revolvers, never have been. Too many moving parts. BTW I live in AZ where open carry in public places outdoors is legal. For these bigger guns I'd just buy a side arm Wild West type holster. I bought my wife a tiny Ruger that she can actually carry in her purse so she can get by without a CC holder. I'm not going to start carrying a purse tho LOL

My daughter went to school in Prescott. I found it interesting to see folks not only open carrying, but riding a horse to WalMart while packing a 1911 in a leather holster. As to carrying larger guns, I know many folks who carry full-size pistols and conceal them very well (AIWB). Thanks for watching and commenting.

They are mostly small guns. I carry a P226, so I find it strange that someone is complaining about an sig p365, Glock 43, M17, Glock 19 and other small guns put in the holster.

Figure anyone buying a holster at that price point can scan a QR code. However, I probably don't want it if I need to watch a video to figure it out.

Those who have access to high-speed Internet take it for granted. But there are literally millions of folks in the United States, and many more in other countries, who don't have that kind of access. But thanks for watching.

I don't have a cc holster bc I don't cc EVER. In fact I don't even own a firearm. Never would. But if I did I'd grab something like the tiny bersa holster that perfectly houses one of my Thunder 380's if I were to ever have one. It doesn't hold anything other than the tool. I know this bc I've seen it a lot. I don't have one nor would I bc I don't even have a firearm nor would I. It's just a small piece of leather but does loosen from the belt clip after a couple yrs and I'm sure that time would be even shorter for those who cc daily. I wouldn't know. I have nothing to cc.

You might want to watch it again. At 4:15 in the video I tried the Glock 19 with an optic. When I first inserted the gun the rear of the trigger guard area behind the trigger was exposed, but certainly not the "trigger assembly". I even commented on that. Then I pushed the gun farther into the holster to where there was no exposure of the trigger guard area behind the trigger. But at no time was the trigger exposed when the Glock was seated in the holster. I also showed two other smaller Glock pistols and neither had the trigger exposed. When the Sig P320 M17 with an optic was inserted, the trigger itself was exposed, and I mentioned that. So, I believe I did provide "good info". But thanks for watching.
