One I like most is in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a small medieval town in Franken. You have to have a hearty bite into their traditional "Schneeballen"! Sehr lecker! 👍😋😄 - You can buy them all year round in many flavours ... Have a wonderful christmas - time with your lovely family and many thanks for providing such a nice "vlogmas"! Hi! Becky’s Mum here! I lived in Germany in 1958 for a couple of years. I have memories of receiving a chocolate advent calendar (not heard of in the U.K.), lots of snow on the ground and KARTOFFELSALAT! I still make it to my Mum’s recipe especially in the summer! Truffle is a food that polarizes. Either you love it or hate it. My sister-in-law once ordered an expensive truffle pasta and ended up scraping off all the truffle pieces and just ate the plain pasta. 🤣 Dominos are from Germany (Dresden) and they are very popular here. I’ve grown up with them and love them. It’s gingerbread, a fruity jelly type layer and the marzipan. Persipan is a cheaper version of Marzipan. 🙋🏼‍♀️

Hi BeckyI I love your parents. Great fun to watch! I love Lidl and it is so nice to see what the UK Lidl offers at christmas compared to Netherlands/Germany. I do miss my British christmas flavours though!. The Domino chocolates are I believe German . Austrian sweets are almost the same. You should try the German Stollen. Marzepan is huge over here and the Dutch are famous for their spiced cookies too...

I'm 80 and I just hate it if someone says my lips are the wrong colour or I look poorly it actually makes me panic and start to feel unwell I think your dad and mum are lovely Beckie and great fun love your posts
