For the turtle, maybe you can crochet the shell and have space between the stitches to allow the light to shine through!

Yes it's a lot of fun going to v alue village (30% discount on Tuesdays for 60+) & thriftstores. I buy lots of craft materials for my Girl Guides & I'm always o the look out for yarn to make my plushies. Glad to see some young like u shop at such treasure places.

Mary Maxim! I've only been there once, I think around 10 years ago now. A little out of my way (London Ontario) but so fun! I need to make time to go back soon. We had a small Mary Maxim here that opened I think in 2016ish that was just yarn, and closed last year. Sad! They didn't have as much selection as the Paris location though. My husband loves thrifting, we end up at thrift stores almost every weekend lol.

Corchet a shell for the turtle lamp! Make a wire cage like you did for the retro 70s lamp but get super thin yarn for it

Wilson is also famous for baseball equipment.
I have that turtle lamp. Mine is a solid shell , kinda like carnival glass type . Value village is getting pricey. I’ve noticed here In Ottawa

Your turtle shell probably got broken….glass does that. Make a coat hanger shell and crochet around it!
Your shirt has something called single stitch. Usually means vintage 90s or before
FYI: Those Shrek (McDonald's) glasses were recalled...I think for toxic paint or something to that effect.
