Our most favorite place in Michigan is Ludington!! We go a couple times each year, soak up the sun at the state park beach and walk to the Big Sable Lighthouse, eat ice cream at House of Flavors! We also love Grand Haven and Muskegon. We went to Mac Island a few years ago and loved it! I’m glad you had a fab time!!

Thank you so much for the recommendations!! I will add these to the list. There are so many gorgeous places in the state I want to see! The island really was beautiful with so much to do, and St. Ignace was quaint and nice, too!

👍You look great. Recommend Michigan as a destination for travelers.. As a native born Michigander, I only went to Mackinac Island as an adult, but have gone back a few times. Same for Greenfield Village, and Henry Ford Museum, in Detroit area. Try Clyde's for burgers in St. Ignace.

The whole coastal drive down through Mackinaw City (which ends in W to make things more confusing) down through Charlevoix/Petosky, Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes then back towards Lansing is a fun route back from Mackinac.

My husband is an MSU alum, so we love your neck of the woods for football games and shows at the Wharton. We live about 45 minutes away. Loved your video. We camped in St. Ignace about 5 years ago right near your hotel. Had ice cream at the same place. Took the ferry under the bridge to the Island. My stepdaughter filmed the entire 45 minutes (no tripod) in time lapse! You sure did a lot on the island in one day! We usually go up every year or two. I love just sitting down on the hill by the fort and sketching. We also enjoy doing the 8 mile run/walk in the Spring and Turtle Half Marathon in late October before the island closes. You hit all of my favorite haunts - especially Joe’s! Still my favorite breakfast spot in MI. Sleeping Bear Dunes is amazing. The Ford Museum and Greenfield Village in Dearborn. Frankenmuth. All great. I’m making a thick rib Tencel jersey tank like yours right now. It’s pretty weighty but not hot. But, I’m thinking I’ll have too interface the straps to keep them from growing. Off to the Ann Arbor Art Fair today.

How nice!! I bet camping up there is amazing. And we really did pack a lot in--by the end of the day we were BEAT! haha. And Joe's was such an unexpected surprise, we really loved the atmosphere and the food was great. Sleeping Bear Dunes is also on my list, I've heard it is awesome. We have driven through Frankenmuth many times on our way to visit family in "the Thumb" and keep saying we want to spend a night or two there to explore a little. It is so cute there! So glad you're making the tank! Hope you love it! :)

What a gorgeous place 😍 such a lovely trip to make. Such beautiful places on this planet, such variety 😍 I was a bit confused by the bridge and the fact that no cars were allowed on the island (brain working overdrive; do they have a big carpark, transport people over in buses that loop back and forth)!! Google maps and realised the bridge didn't go to the island 😂🤣😂🤣 but to Mackinaw town/city 😂🤣😂🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
