I definitely am a silent viewer but I would just like to say thank you for your videos I have just bought a house by myself at 22 and am set to move in start of May. It’s terrifying especially with the rise in cost of living. I really appreciate the transparency you have around finances especially surrounding your house, it helps me feel like anything is possible with planning and implementation.

Love seeing all the house stuff. We moved into our new place almost a year ago and it’s amazing how many costs there are once you move in! Also an Adelaide girl and I know pretty much all the places you went to, so funny seeing them on my tv!

We used Dulux Lexicon (quarter ?strength) in most areas in our house. It is brilliant. Because it’s not white white, matching colours and various white shades is easy. Can’t wait to see your finished home!

Love hearing others experience and finances around new home builds. Hubby and I are currently waiting on our new tiny smart home build, also looking at blinds and fridge 😂 exciting times!

I really enjoy watching your videos and I am always a silent watcher! But something we learned after buying our first dishwasher was to buy one where it is easy to take out the filter and clean it! Our first one had screws that you needed to undo just to reach the filter so I did not do it regularly and that dishwasher barely lasted us a year and a bit - there was other mechanical problems too that happened right after the warranty expired so that was just a hard lesson. Our next one was a kitchenaid with an easy to clean filter and was going strong after 7 years when we sold our place and we repurchased it with our new home.

Hey Boo hey, I love your videos you’ve been helping me maneuver the space of marriage and finances as my husband and I are looking to get a home soon and I’m trying my best to be as prepared…. kinda like you we’ve been living with our parents for awhile now we’re newly weds and yk we’re just figuring it out as it goes. We want to ensure we’re prioritizing our finances and have as much avoidable debt as possible. All these house purchases are even more exciting because you had to wait so long 🤗 We are the exact same about furniture and quality pieces! Early 20’s loved myself a bargain or second hand and now in my early 30’s its so nice to buy items that will last and that all matches 😂

With your dishwasher have a look at Bunnings we got ours from there and it was quite reasonably priced. Plus end of financial year is coming up too so there will be sales coming out in around June which could save you more money.

Have you thought about getting roller shutters instead of blinds? Because the shutters are an extra security element too. Plus they help with temperature control and you don’t have to worry about the dust accumulating. Please think about what you’re going to implement for security (alarm system, security cameras, shutters, gates). After a few close calls me and my partner are getting them installed next week.

I comment a lot on people’s videos in the hope the karma will come back to me lol. I know what a difference it can make to a creator and their channel so when I enjoy I comment and like ❤ I LOVE the house move spreadsheet share and your explanation of your reasonings I think it’s totally worth spending when the item is a keeper item we spent £800 on our dinning table but it’s likely to be the last dining table we ever buy so more than worth spending on something more solid and something we love ❤

Aware I sound incredibly lame but I was SO excited to purchase our fridge. Electrolux bottom mount 496L. It’s huge and beautiful. 😍

I almost fell off the treadmill hearing the price of blinds! I measured all my windows myself and got custom cut blinds from Home Depot. I then got curtains and rods from Marshall’s. All for under $1000 and I have like 9 windows.

Don't get a dishwasher with a cutlery drawer instead of cutlery basket! My parents bought one with a drawer & they have soooo much regret!!! It's such a pain in the arse!
