    This is how notifications can come through when your on do not disturb 1. add your mom, max and lucy and anyone else important to your favorites 2. go to settings - focus- do not disturb-people: allow calls from favorites, turn on allow repeated calls Hope this helps!

    An idea for ur bedtime routine - maybe keep a small notepad on ur bedside table so that if you think of a creative idea / something on your to do list, you can just jot it down and then come back to it in the morning! hope that helps

    Take magnesium glycinate for sleep!! I had to stop taking melatonin because I would have vivid dreams as well. But the magnesium helps me relax and stay asleep😃

    I feel like 2 of the Elroy accent chair by studio mcgee in natural linen would be perfect for your reading nook! They are petite enough but super comfortable and big enough for anyone to sit in, and they’re definitely beachy!

    Also if you get hot sleeping at night, get the Brooklyn bedding cooling mattress protector. Super cooling and it protects your mattress too

    Use sleep mode on your phone at night! I’m the same way where I get worried someone will need me - so I set it that calls from my contact “favorites” can still come through.

    yes, you can put your phone on DnD and have it set for only notifications for certain people. I have my phone like that when I sleep and only my parents/brothers/bf can contact me within those hours and i'll know :) it's great! I have noticed my sleep is way better since I started doing it!

    1000 percent recommend changing your lamp lightbulbs to one’s with dimmers and colors. I set my lamps to red light when I’m getting ready to go to bed and they get me sooo sleepy, and I definitely notice a difference when I don’t have them.

    if you’re having racing thoughts before bed it might be because it’s our only time of day to slow down and be with our thoughts! try to meditate/brain dump during the day

    You should write down a brain dump in your journal before bed! Then read a book/kindle and you will fall right asleep ❤

    My family group chats late at night also, and I've just shut off notifications for it. My phone is by my bedside, so it gets annoying hearing the vibrations constantly. I should start keeping my phone farther away as I want more sleep too!

    I'm the same as Max when it comes to sleep. My brain just knows that it's time for bed somehow lol. Meanwhile my poor husband is more like you and it takes him forever to fall asleep.

    I take magnesium bisglycinate 30 min-1hour before bed and I find that helps a lot improve sleep quality and reduce stress!

    Try out Valerian root! Melatonin doesn’t do well for me either I have really vivid dreams & here and there nightmares but I have to use the bottle up because I bought a big huge bottle in bulk. Going to the gym at night helps me to go to bed at a decent time. My boyfriend is a manager so his hours are crazy. I usually don’t go to bed until 11-12 because it kind of takes me a while to wind down from the day. If I want to go to bed I will make sure I keep my phone light cut down low which after a certain time I have it set to automatically go to do not disturb and to dim so I can prepare for bed. I will choose one of the other with phone or tv. But if I’m watching tv I won’t be on my phone. Sometimes I’ll take a bath and read in the bathtub and it makes me sleepy. Ocean sounds on your phone or speaker & meditation are good things to do also

    You should try keeping a notebook/ notepad on your nightstand so if you think of something you don’t want to forget, you can write it down.

    I have the same problem with using my phone before bed and also not being able to sleep cause my mind is racing, these past few weeks ive only been sleeping like 3 hours a night and nothing I do helps :(

    we should always wear undies with leggings - it's really dangerous not to because we can absorb the forever chemicals from the fabric super easy down there
