I’m so confused! Why can’t you simply transfer money from your checking account into an alternative savings account. The hassle of going to the bank to get cash, plus the liabilities of keeping that much cash on hand and walking around with several hundreds of dollars every month does make sense (pun intended) to me.

Removing the cash works better for me. If I see it in my account I’m more liable to spend. To collect the cash for some reason having it in my hand I won’t touch it. It’s literally like a savings game.
