How exciting to me moving to New York from the Philippines. That is really brave of you to move not just to another city, but another country on your own. My family and I were supposed to travel to the US in late 2019 but because of COVID, it was cancelled. Hi! This was reassuring. I moved to NYC just a couple of weeks ago and it's honestly been overwhelming. I think especially when you're not taking the medical route where you're just bound to meet other labor migrants and have no family here. Hopefully it just gets easier in time. I think living in nyc for good isn't a good idea it is expensive. My dream is to live and work in nyc in the future while im still young. I want to migrate in the US too! Probably gonna retire in California state. I'm from the Philippines btw
