VLOG: Manchester City DEMOLISH Bournemouth 6-1 To Go Top Of The League 😩

A Cherries hero was watching in the stands at the Etihad to see his side go down 6-1 at the hands of Manchester City on Saturday, in a performance from the home side which inevitably oozed class and clinicality. Bournemouth huffed and puffed and did have more joy in the second half, but with the game already won, their impact was minimal as the Citizens notched three more to go top of the Premier League.
Sam is the man with the cam on the vlog. It's a painful one...

On Wednesday, we'll be uploading our Away Day review, which rates the experience in MCR & the Etihad - and has NOTHING (thankfully) to do with the football. If you tap subscribe and hit the bell icon, we'll ping you when it is live. 🍒

I'm more of a slightly bourgeois type, never set foot in a stadium, never wanted my children to play football (too many insults and bad behavior): they play tennis (mostly). It's not always better, by the way, but there is at least a net between the players. 😉 However, I find the atmosphere and the people very friendly and very endearing. You are all positive, despite the hundreds of miles you have done. This positivity is inspiring, and it makes you want to be one of you. Too bad I live on the continent, otherwise I might even have come once. Not for your team but for you guys. Maybe once on vacation, or when you play in a European Cup. 😇

As a City fan I think Bournemouth actually had some decent moments, especially when they scored, but unfortunately for them it just wasn't enough or really consistent. It was a good game though and I've honestly always liked Bournemouth fans for their humbleness and how they turn up to every single game in good numbers despite often losing. They make a great atmosphere too, especially at their own stadium, which I'd actually like to visit one day. Good luck with the rest of the season! Don't worry, you'll get to play the other Manchester club soon, that's be an easy 3 points! xDC

@@jamieadams5826 My opinion is that there is disrespect if a player celebrates right in the faces of fans or teammates of his former club. As I said he kept the celebration (and imo was never over the top) with his current teamates. You obviously have a different view on the subject and I don't have a problem with that

I’m on the fence with this celebration thing. As a City fan, I remember James Milner scoring a worldie for City against Villa, and refusing to celebrate out of respect for his old club. A few years later, he scored a penalty for Liverpool against City and celebrated like he’d won the World Cup. He is now loathed by City fans, who booed his every touch when he came back to the Etihad with Brighton recently. It was poetic justice that Doku skinned him so often in the first half of that game that he was hooked at half-time.
