In an older vlog from a couple months ago, you mentioned struggling a bit with confidence, including confidence with style/fashion. While you may still be working on that privately, I’ve gotta say that you appear to be much more in your element in that regard. You look incredible in everything you’re wearing, but more importantly, you seem comfortable and happy. I hope that it’s as true as it seems, and want to get there someday. The vest is so cute! Thanks for mentioning the functional medicine doctor, I have a friend with stomach issues who hasn’t been able to figure out what’s going on that I will recommend that to. I just wanted to share this for anyone else looking to use Betterhelp. In some cases you do have to be in the same state as the therapist. So they have thousands of providers but if you’re in Idaho (which was my situation) it will be limited. Other than that, it was helpful, and they do let you talk to as many providers as you need to.

Question!! Correct me if I’m wrong but I think I remember you mentioning you have Hashimotos! If thats the case how is your body with the soy and all the alternatives when it comes to being plant based? I got diagnosed in my early teens and as someone who is vegan/vegetarian I have found that soy is one of my biggest trigger foods and am always so interested in how it interacts with other peoples bodies and what they do to help their bodies!! Hey Lindsey! Love your videos and I love Sammi, she's such a cutie! You mentioned having gut issues and I have struggled for 10 years with gut issues too, so I thought perhaps to share my story would maybe help? I found out only lately that it was mainly caffeine and teine (caffeine in tea) (even in decaf/chai/matcha, basically anything that wasn't herbal tea just set my gut for the worst day). I was also told by my doctor to not eat too many plant based meals because they contain too much fiber and anything in excess (just like meat or alcohol) can hurt your body - I used to be vegetarian, at times vegan - and my doctor explained my gut just wasn't coping with all the raw plants in my body. Cooked plants accompanied by some dairy and some white carbs (they have less fiber) were better. In general, my doctor prescribed me a diet full of plants but also carbs, dairy and some protein (it can be tofu as well!), just so that my vegetarian diet wasn't 100% fiber. I hope this is helpful!
