Thanks for sharing, I lost my dog back in 2020 and swore I could not go through heartbreak of loosing a dog again. But like you I had been looking and next month I will bring home my new baby!!

Praise God girl. My story is exact same story. I originally wanted to get a cava poo and like you say they were running 2500 and higher. That has been for like three years now but an old classmate of mine had one and I told her I was interested in getting a puppy and she told me she knew a lady, that was selling shih poo puppies and they were only 1000 each. They were all chocolate and I got two of them. Get to go pick them up in four weeks.❤❤❤

Indeed it is! Raising a puppy requires a lot of love, patience, and commitment. It's a big responsibility, but also a very rewarding experience as you watch your furry companion grow and learn. 💞💕💗

I got a mal-shi puppy too a couple of weeks ago. She is all white with a couple cream spots on her back and her ears . My husband flew to Montana to pick up from the breeder. I lost my 14 year old Mal-Shi back in August. I still miss her terribly, but I am so happy with my new puppy. I name her StormAngle. She is now 13 weeks old and so smart and cute. Congratulation on your new puppy!!!

Congratulations 🎊 I am So Happy for you I went through a very similar Experience when my Dog Son Chiweenie Passed away Last year I thought I would be getting a Little baby I could carry around And take everywhere I was all set to go purchase a Yorkie I had found but something Told me to Wait I checked the classifieds and posts On the internet and a Boom There it was I ended up getting a Baby Standard Parti Poodle 🐩 Definitely Not the Little Baby I Thought I would be getting Though I can't carry her everywhere We can go for walks and hikes And all kinds of outdoor and indoor Sports and Activities Just like you the price was over a thousand less And I couldn't be Happier I Absolutely Love Her God works in Mysterious ways 🙏 ❤️

I had a Shih Tzu poodle 20 years ago. Somebody gave him for free. I had no idea how much they cost. My dog died when he was 17 years old. He was such a sweetheart, and smart too. Enjoy your puppy! Train him well so that everybody will love him. I did that and it was so fun.

I remember when we got our puppy a few years ago and I definitely felt like I had a child lol. But it gets easier! Lol.

Your puppy is sooo cute. I was considering a Mali-Poo but I wanted a similar to my last little dog. She was the best even had her emotional support certification. My new puppy (StormAngel) is so smart too; very loving to everyone. I was concerned about potty training too, but she is completely puppy pad trained. She has complete run of our house when we are at home. She is so smart and sweet. She is now learning basis commends. She knows how to sit and laid down. I think she has learned a lot to only be 13 weeks old. Her breeder was great. We plan to get another puppy from her next year.

@@TroyiaMonay I lucked out. We decided to get a second puppy from the same breeder. We named her Dax. She is half sister to our StormAngel. They have some same father. Dax is not nearly as smart at Storm, but she is super sweet and tiny.. At 5months she only weighs around 4#s. She was the rut of her litter. Breeder said she will be very small when she is grown. We love both dogs. They have been a great addition to our family..

I keep a bell on her and she is a little fiery thing.. 😂😂😂 I have two standard doodles and they are scared of her 😂😂😂 she is so small they have no clue what she is when I let her walk around and crate them.. they stare at her in the crate like .. WTH?? 😂😂

No he doesn’t bark a whole a lot only when overly excited or protecting himself.

You could just have a decal made with his name on it to cover up the meow on the food dishes

I had to say goodby to my 13 year old greyhound about a month ago, I didn't think that I wanted another dog after that heartbreak, and now here I am looking at a 4 week old Shihpoo puppy and watching all of McCann's training videos, They make me feel confident that I can feel good about getting a puppy.

I just picked up my shipoo 2 days ago a female and she is the same color as your mr louie

He is sooo cute! Congratulations! Be careful having the air freshners close to his cage. Certain essential oils can be really bad for dogs.

I lost my shih Tzu tigs in 2018 he was my world he was 3 when I lost him I was absolutely devastated now I have a pekechon Pekingese bichon mix and masie a peekapoo Pekingese poodle I don't want any other dog they are the perfect lap dog I heard shipoos and peekapoos are similar

Shih Poos are THE BEST! We got our baby almost 15 years ago. He’s literally a celebrity in multiple states😂😂😂😂

You shouldn't be collecting your new puppy then leaving him alone on the first night. A dog isn't an accessorie!! I don't think your a suitable dog owner.
