Despite her reasoning, BBLs are ultimately to invoke lust. The motives to invoke that lust may vary, for some its for more views, others its a promotion, for some it's the attention. For some its a record deal, some want bigger tips and more drinks in the club. Bottom line, BBLs would never have become as big as it is today if it werent for how men react to seeing them. The most confident men or conceited are typically men who attract the most women. Whether she acknowledges it or not, she has a higher level of confidence because she just increased her ability ti attract more male attention. May God bless her though.

Going under the knife to alter your look is not the same as wearing lash extensions or a waist trainer. It's major surgery, which has cost many people their lives and is usually an indicator that the person undergoing surgery has some sort of body dysmorphia. For any young person coming to watch this as encouragement to go under the knife, please don't. There are things about all of us that aren't perfect, but God makes no mistakes, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the way you came into this world. Nothing needs to be altered, at least not in terms of the physical. The real work is dealing with what's going on inside of our minds and not allowing the voice of the world to drown out the voice of God. As scripture states, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind." Don't let the world deceive you.

I understand your reasoning behind getting the surgery and wanting to look better for yourself, but I believe a lot of the reasons why we we want to look a certain way is based on what society has lodged in our brains as “sexy” “cute” etc. I fall victim to looking that way too; slim waist, bigger butt. Nobody’s perfect and I do believe that God made everyone unique for a reason. ❤

I agree with everything you said besides "we." Societal norms have never impacted me, as I always wanted to be different and not like everyone else. So much so that I spent an entire summer learning to write with my left hand when was 12 because everyone I knew wrote with their right hand. I've been 5' 7" , with a 34A chest since I was 13 (except when pregnant with my son), and finally got up to 110 lbs during my second semester of college and 121 lbs after the birth of my son at 21. My norm has been 122 - 128 lbs, and at 5' 7", it's not the body of a stereotypical black woman. I literally got made fun of about being "skinny" until high school when it stopped. But then once I got in my mid-20s, it basically started again, with "you're so thin" or "you're so tiny comments." Even was questioned about which finger did I use to throw up with😮, which is ludicrous because anyone that knew/knows me will say I eat like a line backer. I am just blessed with a high metabolism. Maybe liking my physical person (then loving at 30) and not caring what others thought is a culmination of being the oldest with brothers, being a tomboy, having balanced feminine and masculine energies, and my role model being the best dad in the world. He always encouraged and supported me, as well as always shared how much he loved me and how proud he was. Regardless, I'm thankful and blessed to have loved myself enough to know, I don't need to be like anyone else, and I'm perfect they way I am.

If you believe that your body is the temple of God why are you getting influenced by the world to change it into the worlds standard? We as your supporters should go along on your lukewarm journey ?! Be glad that some of us point it out that you are getting to worldy cause you loved it when the christians were supporting you thinking they found a real christian influencer who has godly standards but no a little bit of money can do a lot.. you cannot convince other christians to just accept this like its normal. You know God spits out the lukewarm right? God says if we cannot judge small matters between ourselves how are we going to judge angels..sooo we as fellow christians should let each other know when we see ungodly behavior which will end up in lukewarmness never forget this line be holy as he is holy hebrews 12 should be a great reminder that god is a consuming fire 🔥 and not a teddy bear.

I really just believe people just feel let down Sophia. 😭💔 I know that you say you have never desired or encouraged people to see you as a spiritual leader but the moment you declare you “love” Jesus in your bio and on a platform of over half a million followers… that’s the moment you become an influencer and leader whether you signed up for it or not. Whether you like it or not, your decisions are on display for everyone to weigh against scripture because it’s how a true follower of Jesus Christ is distinguished. It’s how we determine the real from the fake. And we are all accountable to scripture even when we least want to be and when it hurts the most. The Bible tells us if you love Jesus to obey his commandments. Meaning, to do what we are told in scripture. I don’t know your personal and private relationship with Jesus but I’ve followed you for years and sis the makeup and hair videos are FIRE, but to dress provocatively, curse in your videos, and get mad at your brothers and sisters in Christ when they hold you accountable (and call them judge mental weirdos) is ridiculous 🤦🏽‍♀️ Most of your loyal followers aren’t in your comments writing these long posts because they hate you, want to drag you, or even don’t have anything else they could be doing… I genuinely think it’s because most of them feel hurt and disappointed at the direction your content has been going and that the example of a “Jesus lover” you’re consistently showing is not lining up with scripture. I see the light in your life sis and pray that through the clutter you can see the heart and hurt some people may genuinely be feeling due to some of the decisions and lifestyle choices that have been shown from you sis. Praying for your continued growth and healing in Christ sis. 🙏🏽❤️

I agree with the first comment. I seen a quote that said many are getting their bodies done but not their spirit /soul in order. Not saying this is pertaining to you but we can apply this to everything. The further you go in life at times , if you are not truly grounded with God, in your word, reading the bile, fasting as needed, its easy to want to fix everything (nothing wrong with bettering yourself) But it will be easy to go with the vybes of the world. Certain lifestyle, nightlife, validation esp on social media, wrong circles etc. As long as you know your convictions with God and doing what you feel pleases him then thats it. No one have to tell us anything. God convicts us behind closed door on ALL our decisions. It's up to us if we listen or not. @@Sophiology

Those were unnecessary 😒 It's like people say what they want to others, but when they clap back its "unnecessary" and now yall offended 😒 Fatphobic is when a person doesn't like fat no matter what, she's saying she dont like fat for her, she not concerned if others like their back big.. she just dont want a big back on her body..she wants her back slim, her waist tiny, hips wide, and butt round.. Whats wrong with that?

I don’t know why people are shocked. Quoting bible verses and saying I’m a Christian doesn’t mean that people won’t make choices like this. I’ve been a Sub for a while and in my journey watching Soph, she very laid back and honestly none of us “Christian people” said anything. This a product of how much the gospel twisted in our generation. It’s become very sugar coated and everyone picks out what they wanna hear from the bible. The bible does nothing encourage us to go clubbing, wear over sexualising clothes, live worldy lifestyle and my soph did all this. Or at least that’s what she’s presenting to us. This type of lifestyle is very toxic and will ruin many other young people watching her. Sis I would advise that you turn back to Christ, because in him you will find true love and you will appreciate the way God had made you. I pray that you open your heart to this message. I’m not trying to hate, but I be want to set you free with the truth. ❤

I said it in this video too, & many videos before, that I’ve never presented to be perfect or an example. I want girls like me, who are working to be better and closer to God, to feel safe in their journey. To not feel hopeless, because it’s hard. I’m just being real, & I personally no longer care what back lash I get for being transparent and honest. Only God truly knows me. & he loves me regardless of what the world thinks. That’s all that matters to me.

I find it genuinely weird how you and many others people judging her in the comments have been following her and her worldly lifestyle for so long, yet draw a line at her undergoing trough surgery. Y'all should ask yourself this very simple question and if the answer isn't pure hypocrisy then I don't know. Because her main content is clearly beauty and lifestyle and there's no way someone who's looking for a fully christian oriented content would follow Sophia. That's complete nonsense. Leave that woman alone and keep your fake concern to yourself. I respect your decision to do the surgery. This is your life. However, you can't complain about being fresh from surgery and people making comments that you did not like. You've been on this platform for far too long to not understand what comes with it. You should have kept the surgery to yourself for a while for your own mental health and post-op healing. People are sideyeing you because people have become greedy with these elective surgeries. People use the "I did it for me" is an excuse. It's purely out of influence and validation of others. There was absolutely NOTHING wrong with you and I won't be the one to pacify you like the others. Using the word "Christian" doesn't make it so. This was vanity. Dont use God to justify that. As a Christian girlie I had to skip over the secular music. I came here from Twitter and I’ve struggled with my body as well but what I can say is that was your decision and I’m still contemplating it myself. Just be sure to guard your eye gates and ear gates because the music is a tool satan uses to influence anyone. Children, Christians whoever. There’s sooooo many fire artists that are born again, all over TikTok, KZread, IG, etc. As someone who fed into the lies from the devil such as fear/insecurity secular music was only programming me/feeding my flesh to believe that there was something wrong with me. But the Lord says we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are created in His image. And I know it may sound cliche or religious but meditating on the word of God built up my confidence with the body I have now. And I’m not built bad but I wasn’t happy for a while. But when I filled my spirit up none of it even mattered. So I’m still praying about it. But God bless you on your journey beloved! You look GREAT. And the doctor you chose is the BEST. Please try not to let the unkind comments get to you, it takes time for us to renew our mind to this Truth, especially with the high degree of social conditioning we are exposed to. I pray your spiritual eyes will be opened to see that you are lovely as you are in Christ. God Bless❤

@@n.g.l. so you see someone who has “conformed to this world” and the best line of action as a Christian is to condemn them? No! Even if you want to correct, you do so from a place of love. Not from a vile bitter place. I don’t approve of bbls, but I won’t speak wickedness to someone who just finished having surgery, bleeding and trying to recover. The fact that she is alive, means God has he’s reasons for allowing her to wake up, no of us here could have made her survive it but God. So we need to relax and if you are so convicted, you can go the route of praying for her not speaking evil.

Hi 💖 I know that if you truly belong to the Lord, I believe that you will yield to His still small voice to change the title pretty soon. This surgery enforces so much diabolical body dysmorphia amongst young women today and has caused so many deaths and unnecessary complications that even the people of the world have been speaking out about it. For you to associate this with the Lord & claim that this is of God and for His will is blasphemous in nature, yet, it will do wonders for a career apart from Him. Who is your God? Which Jesus do you praise? There are many today, and the holy of holy’s is not pleased with the packaging of this video today. You made a choice, which I cannot and will not condemn you for. I have body goals of my own & like a good lace front myself, but not everything you can do is what you should do. You SHOULD not have presented the video this way. I’ll be praying you see that. You got yes-men validating you, but don’t let their words become louder than the true and Holy God’s.
