today's vlog is all about recharging and doing things that help me feel less anxious.     I would never want to diagnose anyone, but this sounds very much like ADHD. I can fully relate and have been exploring this myself. Eliminating or delegating tasks is important to simplify your life. Built in time outs are essential. Decluttering is huge. I like meal prepping. I color code tasks as either Must be done, should be done, or could be done. That way as long as I get through my “must” list I feel accomplished. Yin yoga twice a week does wonders for slowing down and learning to breathe through that uncomfortable feeling of slowness. Setting a certain number of days per week for social activities is helpful. I can get into periods of too much being out and then periods of being a hermit. Ultimately. Reminding ourselves that a NO to something is still a YES to something else! Sending love and light ❤

    I use time blocking to make sure I'm using my time wisely. I even schedule time for rest and self care. It gives me something to look forward to after my work and chores are done.

    The conversation about keeping yourself busy is so relatable, I feel like it’s so easy to forget that slowing down is part of self care, and resting is just as productive as doing tasks. I get so focused on doing and giving yourself the time to wind down at night is such a game changer (aka advice I get at therapy but still get surprised every time it works 😅)

    i love what you said about things having energy and they take up physical and mental space. decluttering the home also means not buying more stuff to replace it with. less stuff = less clutter, less time cleaning, more savings, peaceful mind, more time to unwind ❤ looking forward to your podcast episode about this one ❤

    I am that type of person that will find something to distract myself when I’m going through something and that’s not ideal because it leads to prolong feelings of anxiety/stress.

    There's a quote from the mindfulness book 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels that says "Rushing is another form of going nowhere." That stuck with me. It's so important to slow down, be mindful and intentional, and make things as simple as possible.
