To be honest, I used to think you were a bit pretentious, but I just love you now. Your home is beautiful but cosy and not overly fancy and in your most vulnerable moments I see how real and kind you are. But my favorite is feeling the pure love and excitement you have for being a mother! I am so so happy for you.

Thanks for sharing Jen!! I grew up with my cousins and we are like brothers and sisters. It will be great for baby girl to have other kids to play with.

Our 9 foot has been blowing strands for the past couple years. I just buy more white lights and fill in the areas that are burned out. I love my tree and don't want to replace it. This is our 12th Christmas with it. I haven't found one that looks as real and nice as it does. I think next year I'm just going to cut off the old lights and start stringing lights each year, sometimes colored, sometimes white. But I'm keeping the tree :-) Your home is beautiful ! I love watching your videos and you have such nice ideas. Merry Christmas !!!!

Jen, you need to get the Light Keeper Pro. It's a little battery operated "gun" that sends a surge through the strand. Sometimes the bulb malfunctions and doesn't close when it burns out, this little do hickie makes it close and then allows the lights that are off but not burned out to turn back on. We've had ours for years and it still works great.

Making decorations for tree was a good idea. Good idea for a kids crafternoon.

If the tree is a GE lite tree there is usually a white socket bulb somewhere in the front that blows that causes the whole strand to go out. Try looking for something like that just pull the bulb and replace the Buble itself not the socket there are videos on how to do it. It is how I fixed mine.

There is a light testing kit that Target sold this holiday season. Its red and its shaped like a little plastic gun. It has 3 different ways to test and work out issues with prelit light strands. I was able to keep my 6 year old prelit tree going as well as several of my outdoor prelit decorations with this tool and it was worth every penny. It has very detailed instructions on how to trouble shoot lines. It didn't take me very long and I highly recommend it to you guys. I just don't know if you will easily find it at this point but you might find it on Amazon.

Beautiful house and decorations. I just noticed one thing. For the first couple of months baby needs to be changed a lot and specially if she poops during the night which she will a lot, if you want convenience, set up a little changing station in your bedroom as well for the first 3 months. Just a table and a pad and a trash can plus a basket with wipes, diapers and diaper cream :)

Sorry you are so out of breath, I remember being that way with my pregnancies too - the good news is as soon as you deliver, it goes away.
