so recruiting duty is a 3 year assignment... ranks of E5-E6 can stay in recruiting permanently if they choose to switch their job over.. however im a E7 we can't stay in recruiting because of our high rank ... you can ask for an exception ( like I did ) and I was approved at the last min but I was already ready to leave by then... I hope this make sense
