We are a large #alpacafarm in the middle of nowhere! We started our farm from scratch 2.5 years ago! Our herd size is over 60!
We are located on 47 acres with no neighbors, no well, no running water!
We practice permaculture design & land stewardship.
We just completed our first natural building project with the help of friends & family!
We breed and sell registered alpacas all over the country! The first half of this episode shows a little bit of that process. Every herd we place comes with free education and long term support. This is actually the most rewarding part of being alpaca breeders!
The 2nd half of this episode shows our barn build! We have recently been connecting with the Los Angeles Permaculture Community & our friend and teacher Chris Martinez has come to visit us twice now to lead our natural building project!
The barn has turned out more beautiful than expected! I can honestly say it is the most beautiful alpaca barn in the world!
We have plans to build several more small barns in the prairie to support our holistic grazing plans.
And next year we will start our Earthen Home!
In October we have babies coming and will do our fall breeding!
