Loved the views and scenery in both towns! Stepping back in time in your country is beautiful ~ even with a video there is a sense of timelessness and permanence even in a world that is so different now.

Great video. I so love that you live in a country with great historical locations. And that they don’t change the facade of buildings. Very unique areas.

Definitely, it's the first time I've ever stopped in the county of Derbyshire and I can tell you it's just lovely, so many peaks and valleys and amazing scenery. The two towns we explored were delightful too - we'll for sure being going back!

Love this video! What was the castle in the background when you first got into Matlock?? I loved the Lock Bridge, what a beautiful setting for it!! Omgosh Feb, the dragons egg was magnificent!! The books are a forever keepsake for sure and for certain!! That sweet shoppe reminded me of the Hobbit Hole and all the brew, we joked about going into the bathing room and never coming out, well a sweet enthusiast could go into the sweet shoppe and never come out, I mean 700 jars! What an amazing video, for an American it gives a fantastic insight to not only a beautiful country but a lovely traditions. Please do share more! Have a wonderful Hogwarts kind of day!!

I don't know what that was - I had the camera on zoom so I could get a better pic - it was blooming miles away lol. And I'm so glad you enjoyed the video - I wasn't sure whether to do one or not but I took bunch of footage for us as a memory of the trip and then thought I'd post something just to see if it would be something people might be interested in. That sweet shop though /drool. We're off to Skipton tomorrow to see the Castle \o/

like that old architecture style, very fitting wizarding town. those books look amazing. the first edition looks so cheap now lol. I guess this new one has a lot additional content. enjoy your butter beer and ice mice. be careful with your sweets not that you get something that tastes odd.

Absolutely, the books are wonderful and I will for sure continue collecting them as they are released - yes, they make my set look so bland lol. No vomit flavoured sweets for me! :D

will definitely be visiting the sweetshop hope I've got enough bags lol we've got some lovely villages in wales and although as a proud welshman it kills me to admit it as a general rule England's one's are better lol p.s I'm on order of the phoenix to chapter eight I think thanks for the vid Feb 😊
