Next time you have a front desk person speak to you like that at the doctors, ask them for their name and tell them AFTER they give you their name say “(Name) I am speaking to you in a very calm and kind manner, there is no reason you should be speaking to me with an attitude. Your form of interaction is very unprofessional and hostile. I’m just trying to schedule an appointment.” Watch their attitude change. Bc now they know you have their name and you can report them 😂

My husband gets migraines after playing tennis. He recently was advised to do salt water and also purchased a back massager because a specific movement makes his shoulder/neck tense which causes the headaches. It definitely has made a difference and he doesn’t get them as often.

You could try Celtic Sea Salt. I’ve been downing a quarter tsp with a glass of water first thing in the morning. All of my hydration issues are solved. It has all of the minerals our bodies need, so I think that has something to do with how effective it is at keeping hydration in the body.

I agree, I recently was on my way to my appointment and I called because I was going to be 10 minutes late and the receptionist told me that the appointment was canceled 3 days again. Without sending a email or a voicemail. On the way I actually checked in. Sometimes they are are so unprofessional.

That lady on the phone was outright rude and i feel people like that shouldn’t be customer facing, they should just work at the back office or cleaning toilets. You did well in answering back to her, and she deserved it. I used to also have the pain/discomfort you described during the bloodworks, and I’ve been told it’s because i have small veins but from experience it’s also based on how well the Dr. / nurse can do it (i.e. skills). The ball squeezing etc helps.

you could be low in magnesium which is why you get migraines a lot ❤
