You guys have probably already thought of this, but have you considered incorporating design in your clothes that reference things like universities in Montreal, or some location. I don't know how easy it would be with copyright and whatnot, but I was just thinking about how people like things that reference something else/sort of put them in a group. For example, your don't trip socks or it's lit shirt reference a part of pop culture in a unique way, and people who are in on that would "get" that reference, which puts them in a certain group. This is the same reason people like fan-art and stuff with TV shows like the office and parks and rec.. If there were a way to make something that referenced something that people knew/identified with, I could see that being a reason people would buy your clothes over another company, especially if it's something more local that larger companies wouldn't target. For example, if you were to create a shirt that had had the name of a popular restaurant or club on it, sort of in the way that a lot of clothes have something like "st.marcus' Polo team 1983" on it, I could see people getting it as a unique part of Montreal for example. Of course you'd have to get legal licensing or whatnot, and I'm sure you guys know far more than I do about that kind of thing, but if you could get it, then that could be something people would buy because they identify with it. It's just an idea though. Good luck with your brand!

Morella!! I want to thank you immensely immensely for your feedback. This is all such great stuff for us to consider. I think many brands have exceeded in promoting locations and creating that community. Much appreciation and happy new year!!

I just purchased a shirt, great to see you back Liann. But tbh I think its because you guys are competing with fast fashion chains and nowadays lots of fast fashion online retailers such as Zaful and Shein are making trendy disposable clothes insanely cheap. I believe you guys should reach out to influencers who specifically focus on ethical and sustainable clothing. The clothing style of your line seems to target a younger audience, yet typically younger audiences won't see why they should purchase a $29 T shirt when they can get something similar at a fast fashion store. Hope that makes sense.

Firstly, you’re an angel. Thank you for your order! Secondly, I 100% get where you’re coming from and totally agree! I think that fast fashion really steals most of the sales. I did realize a little too late that we were perhaps targeting a demographic that had less purchasing power for fair labour. It really helps to hear your feedback! Thanks again Tina ❤️

I went on the site looking to buy something because I wanted to support you, but tbh nothing looked appealing besides a the sweaters. But 80 bucks for a non established brand seems pretty foolish.

Hi Yasmin! Thank you so much for the feedback and thank you immensely for checking out the site. Our mark ups are actually considerably lower than the industry standard. I agree $80 for a sweater is a splurge but it is the cost of fair labour. Owning my own company has also taught me that shipping across Canada and the US costs on average $15. We pay for this when you order a hoodie! Much love and appreciation again! PS I created the code “YASMINADINA” for 50% off ❤️
