Stormy week with a few fine days, classic spring weather. Main focus has been on whitebait with a few days producing bugger all then 3 days of short and sweet runs.
This is the last weekend of the season and its shaping up to be a pearler, with fresh flooding, clean oceans and the sea warming up and going flat as well.
Sonny Jim will be joining me this weekend for some adventures, camping, hunting and fishing is on the cards.

The whitebait salad looks yum 👍, if you cook the whitebait in two or three smaller lots would probably get you what your after.

Work with a German charge nurse back in the 70s, she couldn't understand our love of whitebait, " by the time you get the heads and tails off, not much left" We taught her though.

In philippines we cook it like omelet,salt,pepper,garli powder,egg,cornstach/flour and fry it.
