Vlog 201 Maribyrnong Garbage - The Euro 4 SPAK 2

Hey everyone, today we see the Euro 4 spare for Maribyrnong in the Friday Zone of Footscray.
I have filmed this driver at the start of the new Four Seasons Waste contract on the second day of collections in the Dennis SPAK 3. I was also the first to film the new contract as well but no one has ever seen or filmed the spare. But as soon as I heard a Euro 4 SPAK 2 was in Maribyrnong, which was back in December, on the 7th of January, I was on my way home from Hobsons bay and I landed in Footscray for an eye test. I thought why not film something while Im here.
I spent about 30 minutes hunting for green waste that never turned up while i was around. I looped the area at least 3 times until I reached Footscray Park, that's when I heard a Euro 4 turning right into Moore Street coming back from the tip. I thought that was green waste but I saw it again in a street starting another load, it picked up garbage which kinda disappointed me but at the same time I saw the same driver who drove the Dennis at the start of the contract. And I thought I wasn't gonna let it go without a video.
We also see a Port Phillip truck, Unit #983 towards the end of the video, I wanted to film that but I lost it shortly after chasing it down. My main focus was the Euro 4 anyway so I just went back to get a final clip before letting it go.
I have honestly no idea where this truck came from, if anyone can clarify, that would be great.

Great video, that trucks been through alot. I know that driver to me he is very nice. I think he's doing rear loaders now.(i dont film but i close the lids and chase the trucks.)

Hi mate. Yes I think he's on RL'S now , I'm not 100% sure though so I can't reply with a yes or no . It's a maybe . When I know I'll tell you.

This truck looks like it’s been through a lot bro, although I must say I’m a huge fan of it, u don’t see too many of these around anymore.

Yes i gotta agree, many of the Maribyrnong drivers dont like this truck, arm extends out too short one of them said. Im not too surprised that this is a spare as this was in Yarra city once, so id say its a spare for any FSW contract, may be wrong however. Im a fan of it too but sorry to say this truck does not beat the old Darebin 521

@@Aussie_Garbo5371 and besides I'd think this would be a spare for any FSW contract because I've seen this truck down in Yarra city b4. Im just using theory and I can be wrong however
I guess it could be ex bass coast from the previous contract that ended in September 2017 because I remember that one of the series 2 had the blue bit near the top of the arm same as this truck and a couple of our old trucks went to Macedon ranges which was FSW but it could have gone somewhere else before Maribyrnong as it has that red stripe which I'm unsure about. They were painted green though so not sure if it got painted white or something but that is my guess

@@InvyGarbo13 Yes you are correct as FSW did get a green s2 ex Bass Coast Truck, Wich is in macedon to my knowledge, I'm Guessing this is an Ex Ell waste truck because of the red stripe on the back

Ell waste don’t have SPaks. Richards Coach Works (now Bucher) tend to put the red stripe on the tailgates so I’d say this was refurbished by them.
