Yes it rains a lot in the Philippines, but mostly humid and sunny. Right now I am still adjusting to the cold Michigan 😅

Travel tax payment is usually included in the airfare in most cases. If I fly solo into a city with a connection, I usually search for the airport terminal map before departing from the Philippines. And I see to it that I have adequate time (at least 3 hrs) for arrival procedure in the 1st US port of entry n the departure of the next flight.

Sent me to the connecting airport (BOS) on the wrong day. Transportation from my house & back the next day was $450. Arrived in NYC the next evening and was told my ticket was invalid. The trauma I went through for the next 8 hr can not be put into words here. At the very last minute they let me on the plane. When I arrived at NAIA 25 hrs late my bags were missing. I went to my hotel in Angeles with just the clothes on my back. Washed them every night in the bathroom sink and hung them up in the room to dry, so that I could wear them clean the next day. This went on for a week. I had to go back to NAIA to get my suitcase. $100. I then had to wait SIX WEEKS to see my 2nd suitcase. Trip ended 2 weeks later. We'll forget the broken screen on the seat in front of me for the 16 hr return trip. Had a problem with them the previous year, but eventually got refunded for one way. Would you use them again?

My Filipino fiancé just found out about this requirement on Sunday so I had him schedule appointment. We already have our tickets to fly back to the USA. He scheduled it on July 12 since we are arriving in Manila that day. So once he completes the 2 hr seminar and interview--they should email it to him that day-right? Because we are leaving Manila on July 13 for me to meet his family and will come back to Manila on July 15 and going to the airport next day on July 16 to fly to New York. Will he be okay? I just found out that he may need a an emigrant sticker affixed in one of the pages of his passport and it's applied by the CFO--he already has his K-1. Will they give that sticker to him at the interview? Thanks so much.
