Vlog#10 Dealing With Fatigue, And Working Overnight

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Was going to delete this one, not really happy with it. But thought about just putting it out there to fill this weeks video gap. I don’t expect many views on this one .
There's been a few ask questions about working overnight and going to bed in the afternoon. Here's a quick little video on how I deal with it, because if you don't you'll never get far.
I hope you enjoy.

Good honest Aussie trucker who tells it like it is,I can relate to that,we go to work,to to a meal on the table ,do the best for the missus and kids, rinse repeat,it gets monotonous sometimes, but your smashing it brad,no bs,chin up chest out, your a grafter, good on yer mate👍🤟😊I'm a pommie, and have never met an Aussie who is not spot on yet, take care Blue(with the greatest of respect you make it look easier than what it is)💯

Thanks mate. I know a lot hate monotonous tasks or work, sometimes yeah rinse repeat and so on. But I don’t mind it, you generally know where you’re going, what you need to do and what time your home. While the one off drops are the content I’m showing you I get anxious going places I haven’t been before. And that’s only because I’m in a big truck. It’s one of the main reasons I keep refusing a multi combination licence. Thanks for watching

Hi mate, a good episode that a lot of blokes can relate to. I only do day shift fixing earthmovers but having a young family and trying to help the wife with them as well as getting enough sleep when being gone for 14 hours isn’t easy. Australia needs blokes like you truckies. Well done and keep it up.

Gday Brad, still watching and catching up on all your vids. I’d struggle to drink instant coffee😅…I’m a bit of a coffee snob lol…but that little boiler is a beauty, I’d take some ground coffee beans and brew a little coffee plunger…I don’t have milk so probably a lot easier. Keep it up mate and keep safe!

Ha ha I’m not much of a coffee drinker, I’d much prefer to pull over and get a cappuccino from a business then make instant coffee but you could also spend a fortune doing that. If I was away overnight at the least, I’d probably have a coffee brewer and fresh beans as well as a mini kitchen set up under the bunk. But since I’m only away for half the day the need isn’t there. Thanks for continuing through the back catalogue

I’ll look into it thank you. Friday nights generally I get to bed and get 10 hours solid sleep. It’s during the week where I have the main issues. If I wake up it’s very hard to get back to sleep, and often lay there for a hour before I can get to sleep again.

I do currently. Unfortunately alcohol makes me get to sleep quicker especially early in the week when I’ve had the most rest, but by 8pm I’m tossing and turning Thanks for watching

Yeah while I was able to go to bed later over the Xmas break I was still getting a disrupted nights sleep and waking before the sun rose. I don’t want to take sleeping pills as I don’t want to sleep through the alarm
