I’m sure there is a lot of pressure on yourself with this channel, but just know that all of your loyal viewers don’t care care how little or how much you post, if you’re wearing make up, or if your house is clean. What an absolute treat to see you and your little furbies here again. How good is the short commute!! My commute doubled from 7 minutes to 15 when I changed schools. I actually like the 15 minutes, because I have a moment to mentally switch from work to home. You are looking so well and so happy, and that makes me so relieved and full of joy for you. I also found that changing schools was a good move - you never know til you've made the change thought, do you. I think the pressure you feel is the curse of the perfectionist. I recognise it all too well! Do the things that bring you joy and help you thrive. We will always love to see your videos pop up - it's the only way to hang out together from across vast oceans. But more than anything, you need to do it from a heart of joy, rather than obligation (real or perceived). Thanks so much for touching base. ❤❤❤❤

A few weeks ago, I was looking through my subscriptions because KZread sometimes ( a lot of times really) unsubscribes me from some of the channels that I watch and I noticed 'Slice of Life' and I was SO confused. Then I realized it was you! I'm so glad to see you on my screen again and hope you and your family have been well! When I first started watching you years ago now, I was in awe at how dedicated you were to KZread. As someone who has also taken breaks from here, I completely understand you when you say you were pressured because that is 100%! I feel like with KZread you really have to put your all in or else you won't get seen...that's just how it is these days. That being said, I hope you are able to give yourself grace because no one is perfect, no matter how much we try!! Regarding the Hobonichi Cousin...I have used the Cousin since I lived in Japan for high school. My uncle actually purchased it for me and it's been the only planner that I've used consistently. I've tried using the Happy Planner and contemplated buying EC but have always gone back to the Cousin. The reason why I see so many people move away from the Cousin is that even though it's pretty straight forward in the whole year/month/week/day format, a lot of people feel pressured to write in it and when they don't they feel like they're wasting it. My best advice is again...give yourself grace. There's a lot of times myself personally I haven't used my Cousin for weeks, even months, and I'm okay with it. Looking back at it, yes it may seem like a waste, but to me personally, it's a good reminder to tell myself that I wasn't doing okay and needed to focus on myself before I got started again. If it truly bugs me then I go back and put some pretty stickers (TheCoffeeMonsterzCo is my weakness!) or some inspirational quotes, I actually purchased a Canon Ivy 2 so I can print out pictures and stick them onto my planner. In Japan, we call the Hobonichi Techo books a "LIFE BOOK", and the reason they are so popular in Japan by males and females alike is because we can use them for literally anything. I've seen people doodle on them, make grocery store lists, etc--the point is, there is no ONE particular way to use them, express yourself! Anyways, I'm so glad again to see you! I'm not sure when you'll post again but I hope you have a wonderful holiday season! All my love! -Inyoung xx

I was SO relieved to see your read my IG message 😂 Please don’t feel pressure to always upload on KZread. There is more to life than social media. IMO your authentic self is what kept and keeps me as a viewer. Your personality and calm lifestyle is an escape for me. I didn’t see Skunky in the video (your oldest dog, my apologies if I got the name wrong)- I hope he’s doing well. With all respect and out of care, has T Rex ears always been one up and one down. I had a Pomeranian and when her health declined, it started with one ear being up and one ear going down. Typically both ears were perky. Happy and relieved you’re doing well and enjoying your life to fullest ❤❤❤
