Definitely deserved 3rd over Leanne. Leanne does do good gymnastics, but in these finals, her first 2 landings were very wonky. I still have no idea how Leanne was given an 8.1 execution, whereas Vladislava and Kay DiCello were much cleaner and only scored 8.4 and 8.233 respectively. Maria Ceplinschi's was very clean as well, but had virtually the same execution score (8.166)

It wasn’t as much deduction in those first passes as you think. It was .4 on the first landing and probably .3 on the second landing.

@@mht4908 Leanne wong's tumblings aren't catastrophic like out of bound, multiple steps, very low landing etc. Hers are just lack of control. Plus Leanne wong's difficulty was very high with good artistry while Urazova only had 5.3/5.4D. Maria had even lower difficulty score because her dance elements weren't difficult enough, and switch ring half just isn't really a good choice as a E-score trap.

@@elisewatkins1705 She used this routine since 2019 and only changed at 2021 Russian Cup and Tokyo Olympics. At 2021 Worlds, she changed back to the old one.
