She hopped so it shouldn’t get credit 😂 But it’s Russia domestic competition so you know they probably credited it. Internationally it wouldn’t get credit though.

I love this gymnast. Maybe she has just had some issues with consistency due to all the uncertainty of participation in global competitions in the years ahead. But she is definitely one of the best in the world and her artistry is just so refined and beautiful (those turns!!). I wish her much success and more medals!

@@tambam6744 Well, they're part of the dance elements but I guess they don't count as artistry. But she does have a lot of artistry in this routine nonetheless, although technically she gave away a lot of points. This was over half a year ago, hopefully she's made some improvements since then.

she just really can't adjust to her new height, it's a shame because she was a joy to watch at junior worlds

If she can excel at turns, why not? She doesn't even get shape deduction on triple wolf turns. Just double L and quad turns are questionable

Just because they are more muscular than average and doesn’t look like starved kids in a European famine, doesn’t mean their gymnastics is labored. Get some eyes and some taste.
