Великий мастер каргыраа. Жаль что ушёл так рано, но зато оставил своё наследие под стиль его фамилии.

Listening to his music at different times in his life, I think it greatly reflected his emotions. "Divine music from a jail" and before that was very fast and lively. His "Singing with Echoes through the Universe" sounded slow and melancholy. The performance here gives me sadness and nostalgia of what was. RIP Oidupaa

Oidupaa was one of the many I wanted to meet in person. Unfortunately, by the time I made it there, he had already passed. My first trip to Tuva was in 2016. I returned in 2017 and again in 2018. You can read all about it in MY ADVENTURES IN TUVA.

I wish there was more music from his earlier days when his kargyraa was much stronger and livelier. So sad. RIP

he died a year after this was recorded. Just look how fast he aged. RIP 1949-2013

So fast. I saw a video of him in 2010 and he was so lively. This was 2 and half years later and he looks so different

She's the one who went to Tuva from Japan to care for Oidupaa and help him in his later years. She learnt Russian and Tuvan as well
