In any case, models dont walk nearly as many shows nowadays - I think the highs are in the 30s, so the record seems untouchable (I fail to recall how non NYFW/LFW/MFW/PFW shows are considered btw)

She really was what 2000s runway shows were all about, along with snejana onopka natasha poly and Sasha pivovarova. Her look and her walk was the trend at the time. It was the Eastern European girl wave which coincided with the baby doll wave.

@@Puppies-z9h Yes, but the reason i didn't list her is because Gemma essentially became a celebrity with her look that she had too many high profile and exclusive contracts limiting her number of runway work. I would group Gemma a bit more with Jessica Stam, Lily Donaldson and Eniko Mihalik. But Vlada, Snejana, Sasha and Natasha carried 2000s runway shows on their backs, they really were the foundation for every 2000s runway show casting.

Yes! I remember so badly wanting under eye hollows and dark circles as teen because I thought that haunted, gothic look was peak beauty (just like the victorians, haha). Now I have them and I wish I had the money to fix them! It doesn’t look haunted and melancholic at 35 - it just looks tired and old 😂
